Trying to figure out where some of the places in the book are relative to each other: museum, train station, dad's house, movie theater, etc. If someone has already mapped this, that would be great.

My daugher will be 13 this summer and has a personal goal to leave the US before she's 13. But, we need a low budget family-friendly solution.

Somehow it got turned on and I can't figure out how to turn it off. I tried every button on the remote. The remote is labeled "Pioneer Plasma Display"

And, why do I never see it debated?

I am looking for somewhere to go on a family vacation (two children, 10 and 7) the week of 18Feb that is warm and sunny within a few hours of San Francisco.

We thought of DisneyLand but are worried it will be very crowded since others are on vacation that week as well.

A warm resort in the dessert southwest would work, but I don't know of any and am also not sure how warm they will be. My kids really enjoy swimming.
