I have a mice issue and they're enjoying the sunflower seed from the bird feeder quite a bit. I know squirrels and chipmunks do not like safflower. If I switch to an all safflower feeder system, will that eliminate a food source for the mice?

My friend's Dad has received bad news about liver cancer and she's having a hard time processing the information.

I've looked on google but I cannot find something that simply explains why liver cancer (secondary) is so hard to treat.

Her Dad has two small spots on his liver and feels good but there are no treatments for him left. His CEA is very high (100+). She's struggling with understanding why two small spots cannot be treated. Anyone have an articles online that explains it?

Taking into consideration time zones, how many minutes difference is there from when the East Coast of the US and the West Coast sees the sun rise?

I moved my catnip plant (fairly large plant) from the windowsill to the west side of the house in a large container. It has stayed watered, it got a little too much moisture last week, but now the leads are fading to yellow. It put a flower on, which I snipped off today, but I'd like to keep this plant around. Do I need to move it from the west side of my house to another location? Do I need to fertilize it?

It says to water it in but doesn't give me a time period. It was supposed to rain today but didn't - good chance tomorrow though. Can I wait 48 hours?

I can't have a 2nd story return put into my house and the heat builds up extensively in the 2nd story due to a lot of windows facing west & very high 12+ ceilings in the rooms.

I want to put a ceiling fan on the landing so it will force the hot air downstairs and around the corner to the 1st story return.. however the guys installing my fan seem to think a vent outputting cold air down the stairs would work better.

To me, all that is doing is sending cold air downstairs instead of pushing down the hot & eliminating it.

Can someone offer a good opinion?

I bought some thin sliced eye of round last Sunday at Target. The expiration date wasn't until July 8th so I opened the package today (been in the fridge the entire time) and made stir fry with it.

The beef smelled somewhat sour and tasted sour.. I didn't cut up all of it and the smell got stronger as it warmed to room temperature.

Question is - am I going to get sick? The beef was cooked through & through.

She's 3 - 4 years of age. My cats do have it but have not been active. My question is - did she have this prior to coming to my house or did she come down with it while she's been here? 2) The doctor lost his license about a week and a half after my mother stopped seeing him, will this affect a lawsuit?

3) If the doctor commits suicide, will that prevent the lawsuit from being concluded. If judgment is found for my mother, will a suicide prevent her from getting financial damages?
