Can I use a 70W (20V 3.5A) Dell AC Adapter on my laptop that usually needs a 90W (20V 4.5A) Adapter?
My regular 90W adapter shorted out and I need to use my computer. I had the 70W adapter in my basement. Is it OK to use short term? long term? what are the risks, if any? I would definitely appreciate any computer-knowledge based advice as well as electrical-knowledge based advice.
