After wanting a cuckoo clock for years, I finally bought one. While hanging it up, it fell off the gallery hook I was attempting to set it on. Now when it cuckoos, it doesn't "koo-koo" right - it only goes "koo". Is this a simple fix, or do I need to take to a clocksmith.

Does anyone know the actual lyrics? It sounds like, "she no shaa", and it means, "there are many paths you must walk alone." Julia Begaye also recorded it at one time. It was also featured in the movie Outlaw Josie Wales, but the person just played it on the flute as background music. I want to teach it to some small children, and want to make sure I'm teaching the Navajo words correctly. Please help, and don't respond, "just jump around a fire yelling Hi How Are Ya?" THANKS.

I have an English Shepherd (sort of looks like a Border Collie, but not as neurotic). I've had him since he was a 5 month old puppy. He's a good boy, neutered, and just turned 9. He has is a very submissive and protective dog, and very gentle with people. However, he has this annoying habit of chewing or preening my head whenever I sit on the floor or at a level to where he can get to my head or hair. He knows the "no chew" or "no - whatever" command, and he stops any other conduct EXCEPT preening my head. What does this conduct mean, and how do I get him to stop? He's well trained, but feels "driven" to do this conduct, and I've been able to get him to stop every undesirable behavior except this one! I'm not about to spray my head with bitter apple, either. . .

I have a box of Maja dusting powder. When you open the lid, there is a paper sheet with the powder puff on top, and it looks like a secondary lid. Am I supposed to take off that paper sheet thing (pop it), or is the powder supposed to seep through the paper somehow?

Does anyone know where I can find more information out about these leagues? His team was based out of south east New Mexico. I have his old pictures, but can't find any history about these teams. The jerseys have AE on the front, and the team picture was taken in July 1907. Any leads would be helpful.

Isn't saying 5 kids got hurt wearing Crocs on escalators the same as saying 5 kids who drank bottled water while on an escalator got hurt? Following my logic, should kids who are drinking bottled water now not ride escalators? If 5 kids got hurt while wearing Crocs, on an escalator is it really that significant? Has anyone done a study to say how many kids in total got hurt on escalators?

Someone posted a "question" that wasn't really a question, but a statement. I asked, "So what is the question?" and someone reported me as being in violation of Community Guidelines. As a result, 10 points were deleted from my account. Has anyone experienced the same, and do you think this is right?

I run half marathons, and have used the Brooks MONSTER and the New Balance 767, but now they're totally dead. Any suggestions? I've also suffered from stress fractures and plantars fascitiis in the past year.

"Ho" is OK, but "Nappy headed ho" is not? What gives?? Women, what do you think? Is this sexist or racist?

So, shouldn't McGuirk be disciplined as well, is the improper language in that they referred to women as "ho's" or is it ONLY that IMUS called the women "nappy-headed"?

To me, calling women ho's is wrong as well. What do you think?

Does anyone remember what it was called? It sounded like Phisoderm, but it wasn't that - it was Phiso or Phospho or something like that? A friend and I were being nostalgic and we can't remember that name - its no longer on the shelves as far as I know.

My 3 year old used to want to go everywhere and see everything. Now, suddenly, all she wants is to sit in front of the TV and watch cartoons. She used to eat all kinds of fruit and veggies, now all she wants is chicken nuggets or canned ravioli. It's a major battle to get her out the door to do something active. It's a major battle including saying, "I'm not a restaurant - this is what is for dinner, eat it or don't - I'm not making anything else." Major tantrums follow when she doesn't get her own way, and I'm dealing with a LOT of tantrums. Is this normal? Do all preschoolers go through this?

Only serious answers please - don't tell me to discuss it with my doc - I already did that. I'd like to know what people's personal success/failure/side effects are with this surgery.

I have a Bissell steam cleaner and use quality carpet shampoo. I also pre-treat. It looks clean right after shampooing, but within a week or so, it looks worse and worse! I have Dupont Stainmaster carpet - top of the line stuff.

Just wondering how long it takes for someone to get over severe anxiety, insomnia and depression to the point where he or she can work full time again.

I know someone who is on it, and ever since they started that stuff, I've wanted to invest in a gas mask. I was wondering if it was the Nutrisystem, or if the person is actually half skunk.
