What can you tell me about a partition sale? my ex-fiance and I bought a house, and then broke up about a month and a half later. He was going to refinance it over into his and his parent's names, and get me off the property, but his parents backed out of the refi. (I can't afford to do it on my own, and he doesn't want to sell. He said he has no problems taking it to foreclosure, and I think that a partition sale would prevent that.) I have been talking with an attorney, and he mentioned a partition sale of the property. I'd like to get a little info on that in the meantime. My next appt. with him isn't till next week, and I'd like to know a little more of what this is about. thanks!!!

I don't know much about foreclosure. Can someone fill me in? I bought a property with my fiance, and now we've broken up. At first, his parents were going to re-finance with him, and he was going to fix it up and sell it. Now, they;'ve backed out of the refi. He says he doesn't care if it goes to foreclosure. Ok. I got this email, stating that the expensive lipstick brands (Christian Dior, and a few others) contain lead, and not to use them. It said that the way to tell was to put a dab on your skin, and rub it with a gold ring or something like that. If it turned black, the lipstick contained lead, and shouldn't be used. I've tried Revlon, Mary Kay and OPI lipstick with this, and all have turned black. Does anyone know if this is a reliable lead test?

My fianced is a mama's boy. he makes almost no decisions on his own, and we've just bought a house. This woman has decorated our house (we're paying the bills, not her) from paint to dishes to carpet and flooring. needless to say, I'm pissed, and my fiance doesn't see why. Anyone have any ideas, suggestions? I just don't know what to do to make the situation any different. I am also in counseling for depression and anorexia, and he talked to his mom about that. they decided that i don't need that counseling "because it's expensive and we should put that money towards the house." I'm sick of everything being his mother's opinions, and his mother's thoughts, not his. it hasn't always been like this, only since we bought the house. Any advice would be welcome......

I bought a turquoise sleeveless sweater, and today spilled french onion soup on it, and used Tide to Go stain remover to get the stain out. Well, it took care of the stain, but it also bleached the fabric. So, now right in the middle of the front of the sweater, there's a faded spot. Any suggestions to fix it? Has anyone else ever encountered a problem like this before? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I just bought a container of it, and can't get it open! I pulled off the clear cap that covers the brush, then untwisted the brush/cap thing, and underneath is a clear/white cover that I can't get off. Anyone have any suggestions? I'd like to be able to get it open without spilling 90% of the powder. Thanks.
