Why are we so content with the fallacy known as Santa Clause, when we teach our kids that lying is wrong?
We, as adults, know that the jolly old guy is just a myth...as are the other "rights of childhood" known as the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy. If lying is wrong for kids, then it's wrong for adults, too!
Children will learn more, by the example we show them, than they will by what we tell them. And, it really won't kill them to know that those gifts came from their parents, who love them!
Just some food for thought.......I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!

I don't have a boyfriend, or husband; and my kids will be out of town, that weekend, with their Youth Group.
5 AnswersValentine's Day1 decade agoHow is it that an Atheist can tell you what the Bible says, but refuse to believe any of it?
I've seen numerous Atheists argue this Scripture, or that Scripture, or ask questions to clear a misconception up about a particular Biblical topic....but none of them believe what they're reading is true. It just blows me away!!
How can anyone understand something, but not believe in the validity of what they understand?

"Save me, from the walls that I build; from the broken heart inside of me that just will not heal!"
Bonus if you can tell me who sings it, too! Thanx!!
