3 AnswersTVs1 decade agoI had a weird deja vu experience (see details)...any explanation?
This was so wierd.... I was looking at my hamster in its cage trying to gnaw it's way out of the metal cage door and noticed that the water dispenser thing was in his way. And at that very moment I remembered long ago this exact situation occurring at this setting, with the blue cage, the black hamster, me trying to move the water dispenser out of the way. The thing is....I bought the cage with the hamster yesterday....I never owned a hamster before that. And I noticed that I would have to move that water dispenser to reach for him anyways. It was such an eerie experience i got stuck in thought for like 10 minutes not even moving. Then when the hamster stopped gnawing and walked away I snapped out of it. I experienced Deja vu in other strange occurances, but this one takes the cake. It makes me think sometimes that reality sometimes does redo itself for whatever reason.

4 AnswersEconomics1 decade agoIs there a California state sponsored program that buys cars that didnt pass the requirement smog test?
My dad says there is and he wants me to find it. He say that the program will buy the car that didnt pass the smog test because he can't drive it anymore.
2 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoIs there a way to sell a car to the california state for $1000 if the smog check didn't pass?
Im not sure what my dad is talking about, he doesnt know much about the internet and I cant figure out where he wants to go. He also mentions that it has to do with some kind of California State retirement program. He's pretty much trying to sell his car to the state for $1000 because its too old to pass a smog test. You guys know any programs from the California government that does this?
3 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoHow are we gonna stop the burning of fossil fuels?
Carbon gas filling up our earth by the millions of tons daily.....heat from sun gets trapped in carbon gas...dramatically changes climate....carbon monoxide destroys the ozone layer......allows microwaves to reach earth......people burn into little pieces of charcoal....effects of global warming already felt....global dimming masking true effects of global warming......
Just a few things running through my head. But who cares right? As long as we can get from point A to point B in time. As long as we got other few scientists who think that this climate change is just a mere pattern of climates over the years with no upfront evidence to back it up. As long as the effects do not affect our lifetime.
8 AnswersOther - News & Events1 decade agoWill God do anything to prevent us from destroying our own planet?
Or is this just the proclaimed apocalypse in complex metaphorical translation?
I want to know how God will keep the earth inhabitable when so far when he hasn't done much to even prove his existance. I believe he's up there probably still working some miracles but he's just given up on our pathetic human race. Probably waiting for us to die so he can start all over again like he did with the dinosaurs.

14 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoMy knees hurt after running on treadmill, any better way to run on it?
I gotta admit, I overdo it when I run sometimes even past my physical limitations when my willpower is strong enough. I have a physically well-built stature that allows me to run so much but the past year my life style has drastically become less active only to find that now I must get back to top shape as soon as possible. Most of my body can handle this, its just these damn knees of mine (and occasionally my ankles) getting sore like an old man from the ongoing impacts on that hard treamill surface that my joints ain't used to. If I powerwalk with a high rise level, will that compensate for running on a level surface maybe? Any suggestions? Used to bike alot until somebody stole my bike. :(
5 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoAnyone switch from monotheism to aetheism? And how does it feel?
This is not for those who are just starting to question their faith in their religion, but for those who already made the switch. I really am trying to convert to aetheism but I cannot help the fact that there is someone up there who is always looking down on me. I am not switching because I think my old religion (christianity) is fake, but because I question the divider between what is morally right and morally wrong. The hardest part right now is who to blame and who to praise on mere coincidences that happen in my life (no more "Thank God", or "Damn it to hell"). If there was a religion that could focus more on fairness and (non-american) justice rather than good vs. evil then I would definitly walk right up that alley. I believe that everyone is born with a clean slate and the only reason a person is good or bad is because of their surroundings. Without evil there can be no good, why is that? It is because good and bad is but a mere illusion of majority favor versus minority favor.
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHow will we fix our world's impending doom?
Theres no doubting it now.... Major global dimming has been shading us up from major global warming. Both are contributors to our world's doom. This question is not for you skeptics out there because this has already been proven as a fact now. It seems without our pollution we would face catastrophic heat and yet pollution has always been detrimental to our health. So getting rid of pollution would have to be dealt with extremely carefully now, but I can't see any way out of it, can you? Getting rid of pollution= extreme heat, keeping pollution= killing natural enviroment and lung disease. Help us, God!
