I have updated by Norton internet security from 2007 to 2008 and ever since I have problem with?
my internet explorer.
I open a page and when I close it, I get this dialogue box which says that there is a problem with my internet explorer.
when I close that, all the webpages gets closed automatically.
I checked to see if there is any virus in the system, but it looks fine as my Norton 2008 cannot find any virus.
what do I do?

each time I connect to the net, I get a prompt for an update if there is one. I usually get the update installed in my systes. Off late my system has slowed down a lot and when I went into the control panel to check all the applications in the system, I noted the following:
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 6
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 7 and then upto Update 11.
If I retain the update 11 and delete all the earlier ones, is it in anyway going to harm my system, like system doesn't work properly etc

When a remote access is provided by the office to the user and if the user uses it by accessing through the home PC, would the IT team be able to access the home PC.
That is can they view what is all stored in the system, personal files etc..or they cannot. (we usually see that IT would be able to have complete access to office PCs even though we have personal drives).
