My son has either the flu or some stomach virus. It started Tuesday evening with just a high fever, no other symptoms. By Thursday night his temp got to 105.5. I took him to the emergency room. All the tests they did on him came back normal. They gave him an oral antibiotic to take for 10 days. His fever finally broke Saturday evening. Sunday morning he was feeling better but by the evening he started throwing up. He cannot keep any solids down at all. His stomach is cramping, I'm guessing from lack of food. He can keep some clear fluids down, but that is only when he doesn't try to eat anything. The pain in his stomach has been bad at times, but has since eased since this morning. Anyone know how long this might last? The doctor at the emergency room said it could last 5-7 days and we will be going on day 7 tomorrow. I know the pain in his stomach is more than likely from not eating much the past week. He drinks water and ginger ale and nothing else. He has managed to keep a popsicle down today. I have no insurance so just running over to the doctor is kinda out of the question. More than likely they will tell me what I already know. I know if my son gets worse, I will take him back to the ER. Any help is much appreciated.

I was wondering if anyone has taken the road test at the Conyers location? All I wanted to know is where do they actually take you out on the road for the driving part of the test? I have seen where they make you park in a parking space and everything, but do they make you go out on 138 or just drive around the testing area?

Does anyone know if the Superstore in Gwinett is still open off of I-85? I would hate to drive all the way up there and they closed it.

My husband is a picky eater and I have no idea what to fix him anymore. He will eat lasagna, tossed salad, cubed steak, pork chops(baked for fried), mac n cheese, spaghetti, sausage, french fries, hot dogs, hamburgers, pork or beef roast, bbq pork sandwiches, chicken(but he's not too fond of this) and that's about it. He doesn't eat onions in anything, no rice. Does not like fettuccine alfredo. I can't think of anything to fix him anymore. He doesn't like most vegetables either. Any ideas?

I just got my mother-in-laws old sewing machine and noticed it doesn't have a foot on it. I went to local stores looking to purchase a new one but can't find one anywhere. Can I still use the sewing machine if there is no foot for it? I'm working on 2 quilts and need to have them both done soon. I hand stitched the front of both quilts and need to put the batting and back on and figured the sewing machine would be faster. Any help would be appreciated.

I have gotten my wedding bands online and didn't realize until now that the bandwidth on my ring is wide. When I tried it on with my engagement ring, I can barely move my finger. Can a jeweler change the bandwidth? I think its 3mm and I want it 1mm.

I'm not sure exactly how to explain this, but I'll do my best. I have a lot of digital pictures in folders on my laptop and I had never had a problem opening them with Windows Picture & Fax Viewer until recently. I had added some new pics from my digital camera a week ago and I always view them when they are done loading. Well this last time I wasn't able to see the pics. I tried several times to open them, but it didn't work. Then my laptop seemed like it was running really slow. I did a disk cleanup and I also did a defrag, which made things run better. I have no viruses on my laptop. Today I tried to open the pics up again to send through an email and everything started messing up again. The digital camera I have is a Aiptek, if that matters any. As I said before, I have never had a problem uploading the pics from the camera to my laptop until recently. I'm wondering if the camera software has anything to do with this problem. I can't remember if there was a CD that I used....

I'll be looking to buy a house in the near future and I have heard some horror stories about people hiring a home inspector to inspect the house they are wanting to buy, then come to find out that the home wasn't properly inspected. When an inspector is looking over the house, are you allowed to walk around with them? Is there any way of finding out about certificates or anything positive about the home inspector, without having to ask them directly? I know there's a lot of con artists out there in the open and even the cautious person can get burned in the long run. I just don't want to buy a home after it's been "supposdly" inspected, then have everything go wrong afterwards and cost me a fortune. Any help would be appreciated!

I know the answer I keep getting is wrong and I do have the correct answer in my book. I somewhat get how everything works, but if you could please give a detail on how you got your answer, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advanced!

This is for anyone whos gone through the K-1 Fiance Visa process from Canada into the USA. I'll be getting my information pkg within the next few weeks, as to what to bring with me for my interview at the US Consulate in Montreal, QC. The question I have is, if anyone has gone through this process within the past few years, how much does the medical exam cost? Also, if you have children, do they need to have the exam done as well? Do your children also have to go with you to the interview? As I said, I'll be getting my pkg soon and I want to be prepared as far as finances go. Thanks in advance!

I'm a Canadian citizen and filed for a K-1 fiance visa to move to the USA to marry my American fiance. So far all we got from Immigration was a letter stating that they've recieved the forms and fee. I know some of what all is involved, but I'm not quite sure about where I'll have to go for my interview here in Canada when I do recieve the information package. From what I heard awhile ago, there is only 2 US Consulates in Canada that handle the fiance visas. One In Montreal, QC and The other in Vancouver, BC. I live in Toronto and I do know there is a US Consulate here. Does this Consulate handle the fiance visas? I really would like to know before I recieve the information pkg, that way I can start putting money aside for transportation if I have to go to Montreal.

My son is 3 & a 1/2 & I'm really having a hard time when it comes to potty training. I have been patiently trying with him for over a year & have run out of ideas. I have tried everything from bribing him with candy, money for his piggy bank, to using a potty chart that I made for him with stickers & a reward for him at the end of the week for completing at least 5 potty uses for that week. He knows exactly what the potty is for & will sit on the potty without getting up for up to an hour unless I say it's ok, but he doesnt want to grasp the concept of having to use it on a regular basis.When he does use it, I praise him & tell him how good a job hes done & when he doesnt use it, I'm clam about it & dont push the issue too much. I don't know what else to do with him.He's pretty lazy when it comes to the potty.Hes so advanced for his age when it comes to everything else, but he's lacking this ability.What other choices do I have besides putting him in underware & having him wet himself?

I'm a Canadian and soon will be moving to the USA to marry my American fiance. I want to legally take my future husbands last name and also have my 3 year old son's last name changed after we get married. My son's biological father NEVER signed any birth certificate, nor has he ever recgonizied my son as "his child", so he's not in the picture. I wasn't sure if that would have any impact on my decision with the name change. But how would I go about getting our name changed and where would I have to go to get it done? We'll be living in Georgia. I don't know if every state is the same or different.
