There are 2 ID theories:
1. God created everything about 6000-7000 years ago. There is no evolution, just what God created and chose to change.
2. Evolution is subtly guided by God. The earth is 5 billion years old, and evolution happened (and continues to happen), but God is guiding the process, through subtle changes to life that we have identified as mutations.
Which do you believe is the correct one?

It seems to me that the 10 commandments are a bit outdated. Found a couple of new ones while poking around, wanted the opinion of the esteemed and intelligent crowd at R&S to comment. Question is, what do you think of the below?
The 8 "I'd Rather You Didn'ts" (in installments due to Y!A character limits - bare with me here people).
1. I'd really rather you didn't act like a sanctimonious holier-than-thou *** when describing my goodness. If some people don't believe in me, that's okay. Really, I'm not that vain. Besides, this isn't about them so don't change the subject.
2. I'd really rather you didn't use my existence as a means to oppress, subjugate, punish, eviscerate, and/or, you know, be mean to others. I don't require sacrifices, and purity is for drinking water, not people.

Upon researching, the Jews had some requirements for the Messiah. These requirements included:
1. Ezekiel 37:26-28: Build the Third Temple
2. Isaiah 43:5-6: Gather all Jews back to the Land of Israel
3. Isaiah 2:4: Usher in an era of world peace, and end all hatred, oppression, suffering and disease. "Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall man learn war anymore."
4. Zechariah 14:9: Spread universal knowledge of the G-d of Israel - uniting the entire human race as one: "G-d will be King over all the world—on that day, G-d will be One and His Name will be One"
Per the Rabbi on the site, Jesus didn't do any of the above, yet had to complete all to be the Messiah. I am wondering how Christians explain this.

My brother is getting deployed to Iraq in 3 weeks.

E-4 - Specialist
MOS: 88N - Transporation Management Coordinator
18 Month total deployment
6 Months Training - Ft. Bliss
12 Months in country - Probable location is Baghdad, Iraq
Any vets know what I should get him? I know that private body armor is no longer allowed by the Army.
