Forgetting for a moment that making a Judge presiding over your case 'unhappy' isn't the smartest of things to do, legally, is there anything compelling a person in court to call the Judge, "Your Honor" or "Judge"? Can you legally get away with calling them mister or misses or even by their full name? In other words, if Judge James E. Jones is presiding over someone's case, while in the courtroom is there any "Legal" reason preventing the defendant form calling the Judge "Mr. Jones" or even "James". (I understand that disrespect is NOT a good idea, and I do not condone or advocate such behavior, but I was asked this question and I had no answer, so now I am curious.) Thank you.

My stepson has become interested in Dungeons and dragons and has asked for the core material. DM Guide and players manual are obvious, but I have heard bad things about newest Monster Manual and nothing but good things about the Monster Vault, but I haven’t played D&D in about 17 years or so, back when it was AD&D. I have no idea what's good, bad or better in regards to this version of the game. Which kit would be better for him and his friend as they start off in the game. Which is more interesting and fun?

When I was a kid, in the 70's or 80's there was a film about a boy from the city whose father goes to visit a friend in the desert, I believe it is in Africa. The friends has a girl about the same age as the boy. Criminals destroy their home and the two children escape into the desert. The two of them, with the help of a local native boy have to cross the desert. I can't remember the name of the film. I thought it was Disney, but I could be wring. Any ideas?

I am considering buying SW:TOR but before I do, I was wondering if I need to purchase the more expensive version to get extra equipment like a Training Droid, the STAP or other gear. If you can purchase it, do I need to use online 'earned' money or can I acutely purchase equipment? Meaning, Can I use by credit/debit card to either purchase the gear or purchase in game credits?

If so, I have used PaintShop Pro since version 4, and have always disliked Corel Draw. When Corel bought JASC PaintShop Pro, I was hesitant to purchase it and now I would like to know if it still has the same functionality as the older versions of PaintShop Pro before I spend the money and purchase it. The functionality I liked was: Vector and Raster graphics editing, paintbrush, flood fill, preset shape tools, Clone replication, and Pen tool with segment options. I also like browns viewer and effects options. If someone could let me know if these features are still part of the PaintShop Pro tool kit, I would appreciate it. I currently am using PaintShop Pro 9 and would like to upgrade IF it has the same functionality.

I am looking for overtures, Sonatas, Rondo, etc... that are, at least in part, "dark" or menacing, perhaps even gothic in feel. I have a gateway NV78 with an Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 @ 2.2 GHz, 4 GB Ram running Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium. I have Java 6 Update 29 (build 1.6.0_29-b11) When I play games like WOW my graphics are just fine. No real latency at all. When I play Minecraft, a Java gamer, sometimes I am okay, sometime I am SLOW! Very, very SLOW. IT is me machine and not the server. Any ideas to help correct this. Thanks.

I am looking for honest, KNOWLEDGEABLE opinions about the differences, similarities and efficiencies (or lack their of) between the karate styles of Shotokan and Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate? I KNOW The history and I have extensive martial arts training and background. I am not looking for who is better, but what sets them apart and why someone may prefer one over the other.

What I am trying to do is from cell C1, check cell A1 and if it is null, "", then populate cell C1 with data, if not, populate cell D1 with data. I know I can, and always have, checked cell A1 from C1 and then again from D1 but that is two checks. I would like to do it with one.

Christmas time is here and we are giving our 15 year old son a laptop for Christmas. (Windows 7 64-Bit OS) I am looking for parental controls that first and foremost will block unwanted and undesirable websites. I want something that is easy to use and difficult to disable.

If feasible, I would also like software that logs his web activity. (I am not talking about internet history. That can easily be erased and as our son is very bright, he will do so.) I would like something that is either an independent software package, so if he defeats the parental controls he isn’t by default killing the log or I want a product that has safeguards against such tactics.

I have recently moved to a Linux environment and I came across an OLD (VB 6) app I wrote years ago on a thumb drive. I can rewrite it something more Linux friendly (C++), and to be honest, I probably will. But would like to use the app sooner rather than later. If there is an IDE that can compile older VB 6 code into something usable for Linux, that would make things easy for me. Any suggestions?

I know the major religious texts for the larger religions of the world. (Christianity = Bible (The Gospels); Islam = Qur'an; Judaism = Torah [Tanakh]; Hinduism = Vedas) But what about the other religions? Shinto? Sikhism? Jainism? Bahá'í? Cao Dai? Others?

What about some of the off Shoot religions from the main faiths? So some denominations of Christianity favor certain books above others? Do all denominations of Islam follow the same Qur'an? What do different branches of Buddhism consider their primary or favored sutra?

I am just curious about what some of these religions believe and where their beliefs stem from.

When I try and group these either is SQL or in reporting services, each of the dates are separate, presumably because it is taking the time into consideration. If I were writing a program, this would be snap, but I have been told NOT to write scripts or programs but just used SQL and SQL reporting services. I am not sure how to proceed. If there a function or tool I can use? Any tricks, tips or ideas?

Regardless of what you call them, I am looking for a single traditional writing that best explains and exemplifies Buddhism.
