I have an old pair of RCA infrared headphones + transmitter that I use at home with home AV stuff. I want to get an extra set of headphones. There are a lot of brands out there now, and various models. Most are designed to work with in-car TVs. Wondering whether this kind will be compatible with my home-type transmitter, and whether I can use two headphone sets at once.

Will it be dry if it is cooked without any stuffing?

(It may be difficult for us to stuff our turkey this year because of logistical problems. It is like a potluck party and the stuffing person can't meet the turkey person.)

I downloaded the trial version of Kaspersky Labs antivirus 6.0. I was not satisfied with its functionality. Want to install another company's program instead, but must UNinstall Kaspersky first, natch. Can't. Kasjerky requires a *^&#$?! password, even though the trial period expired and the darned thing is functionally DEfunct. Not only that, but their online support requires the password just in order to contact them. (their phone support never answers, btw.) So I am stuck with this thing, unable to even install alternative protection. Or...?

Does anyone know, for example, how to get into my machine as administrator, in order to override the roadblocks to uninstallation? (Yes, I have tried both the Remove Program control panel AND manually deleting the program file. Nothing seems to work.)

In the drop-down favorites menu for Internet Explorer, several websites have their own unique icon next to the site name (such as Yahoo!, which has the big, red "Y", for example) instead of the default blue "E" Explorer icon. These are helpful for rapid selection of a favorite from the menu, of course. Why, oh why, do some of these icons disappear from time to time? (Yahoo is one of the ones that has disappeared recently.) I like having them. What causes this?

Itunes asks me if I want to replace everything on the ipod with the music in the other computer. I want to ADD this music to my collection, not replace everything.

I am a member of about half a dozen Yahoo groups. Suddenly, when I sign in to Yahoo Groups, only ONE of these groups is being displayed. The others are gone! I cannot access them. The same on my 360 page under "my groups". Some of these groups I started myself. They are for the students in the classes I teach at university. So they are very important.

I have six pairs of numbers. The pairs represent the results of two different conditions. I want to know if there is a statistically significant difference between each pair.

These are the pairs, in case you want to see what kind of numbers I am working with:

0.09 --> 0.13

0.1 --> 0.196

0.03 --> 0.088

0.117 --> 0.217

0.148 --> 0.151

Since I only have six pairs, is this possible to do?

I have two numbers, for example 0.14 and 0.17. These two numbers represent an increase. I want to know what the percentage change is. The difference (0.03) is what percentage of 0.14?

How does one calculate this? Thanks.

Everything is sluggish, not merely on the net. All programs work more slowly, less responsively. I clean out spyware regularly with Ad-Aware, so that's NOT the problem. It started immediately upon installing Norton Antivirus, which is actually the smallest of all their home products.

Please help. It's like having a virus, so I almost question the value of having it at all.

I want to have the people with whom I communicate most often displayed there. 360 insists on keeping a bunch of older contacts there. I can't seem to change that with ratings or categories or anything. It seems counterintuitive the way it is now. What can I do?

You know, the kind that you use to drain pasta, with a tight wire mesh? It gets full o' junk, but I haven't found any efficent way to clean it. Where are you, Heloise?
