I'm planning a trip to Washington DC. I'm looking for a hotel that's 30 minutes from DC but not too expensive. (Under $115 per night). It doesn't matter if it's in Virginia or Maryland. Please help thanks.

I need to pay for collage and I don't get a financial aid. I have to take out loans. I'm not sure what kind to get. I know about Stafford loans but are there anything else I can get? I'm also looking for scholarships but can't find any out there. I live in Michigan and I need to find some way to pay for school.

What does the government considered a disability... The reason I ask is because my daughter has ADD... do they consider that a disability? Are there programs out there for kids with ADD? Where can I get more information about programs or other assistance for my daughter?

I've been having abdominal pain on the left side for the passed 2 weeks..... I went to my doc and he did a bunch of tests and everything looked normal... I have no bladder infection, I'm not pregnant... I had an ultrasound and found out that I have a medium cyst and a small fibroid and a small cyst on the right side. the doc also did a ct scan of the abdomen and pelvis and nothing came up. I had a pelvic exam and I was in a lot of pain. The doc thought I might have a small infection and thought I should be on an antibiotic for ten days..... I started taking them on Thursday and it felt a little better all weekend..... On Tuesday the pain started to come back.... I went back to the doc on Wednesday and I asked it he could do another pelvic exam to see it the meds were helping and ,,,,,,,, I was still in a lot of pain. He told me he is referring me to an OB and got me an appointment for next Friday. He also said If I'm in a lot of pain I should go to the ER. The meds I take aren't helping and I'm still in pain I don't know what to do..... Please help... Not really sure what they will do in ER... I don't want to waste my time and go there and have them tell me that they don't find anything wrong...... Only serious answers please..... Thanks in advance.

My child is in first grade and has a hard time focusing in class. I had her tested for ADD last year and found out that she has it. I was not happy with it but I started her on some meds…. The 3 we tried were not good and I didn’t want to keep giving her different meds so we stopped it. Now her teacher tells me that she has a hard time focusing in class and isn’t able to finish her class work. I don’t know what to do….. I don’t want to give her meds but I want her to focus in class and finish the work. The teacher said I know she knows the stuff but she can’t focus long enough to get the work done. I don’t know what to do. What else can I do? What else can I don besides medication to help her stay focused in class?

I’m having a D&C done on Thursday for fibroids and I’m scared…… I talked to my Dr. and she’s told me how everything’s going to be but, she’s never had it done herself. I want to know from someone who's had it done. I trust her ability and am confident that she’ll do a great job but, I’m still scared. When you had your D&C done how was it? How long did it take? How long were you in the hospital? Did you have local or general? Were you in a lot of pain afterwards? How many days of bed rest, if any, did you have? Any tips to make things easier for me? My son got his finger caught in the door……His finger by the nail bleed for a little. It’s been about a week and his nil is still blue and a tiny bit swollen and it hurts when I touch it. Should I be concerned????
