I have four networked systems, all sharing one printer. I have three Windows XP Media Center '05 Editions, and one Windows Vista Ultimate system. The printer is an HP Officejet 6310xi All In One. Each XP system are factory built, two from HP one from Dell, all with Intel Pentium D processors, two with 4 gigs of RAM, one with 1 gig, and the Vista is an Asus motherboard, Intel Core 2 Dual, 4 gigabytes of RAM, 512mb onboard video on an ATI HD 2600 board. All four systems have printed without issue to the HP Officejet until just a couple of days ago. Nothing occurred out of the normal, and all virus scans have come up clean. The Vista system cannot print from within any application, be it a website, or an application, or a service or system utility. I get a weird error without even an error code:

"An unknown error has occurred"

Nothing shows up in Event Viewer, not a single error or warning or even information pointing to the popup statement. All very odd. I have tried everything I can think of all to no avail. I am putting this into the hands of you at Hardware.

I am using Live Meeting to participate in Webcasts put out my Microsoft. It uses the Windows Media Player to broadcast the streaming audio. I am unable to connect to this audio. I get an error stating it can't find the server and to check that I am connected to the network. I have checked all of my players settings, made sure Multicast, UDP, TCP, and HTTP are all checked. My security zone is set at Medium which is the reccomended setting. I can receive streaming audio from radio stations and streaming video with audio via the player. My webcam receives streaming audio just fine, the firewall shows no problems either, nothing is showing as blocked, nor any errors or announcements of a program attempting to access my computer. Just nothing, and the error. I am hoping somebody here will be able to tell me what I need to do to fix this, as it has to be my computer, not the Live Meeting program, as other participants receive the streaming audio without incident. Please suggest ideas, thanks

Does our justice system truly seek out justice, the truth, blindly appying our laws to all equally? If so how does it attain these ideals? Or, is our justice system currently bankrupt and if so how has is broken and at what point is that breakdown most significant? Is it justice for an individual to go bankrupt defending against charges s/he is not guilty of, and should the government be required to re-emburse those who are vindicated? How would this positively and negitively affect our legal system and society?

Do you find a successfull individual who has acheived a great deal has a right to feel arrogant, snobbish, and superior, and if so do you find him/her a turn on, and attractive? Somebody who you would wish to have a romantic and/or long term relationship with?

Last night I helped out a nice person who was needing some assistance and when we finished I made a joke. Now I feel very sorry for that joke and just don't want her to think I was serious. Is there any way for me to communicate to my-2-cents how sorry I feel right now? If anybody knows how to will you let her know I was joking? My_2_cents, I am really sorry for making that joke. I did not mean for you to do what you did. I enjoyed assisting you last night. I hope you get this note. Somebody answer this so it is a question ok? We worked hard to find an answer together to two different problems she was having with photo's and music tones for messenger. I only helped with the ringtone I believe, I do not know if she was able to get the photo she wanted loaded as an image into her messenger or not. So, just answer this please. Thanks so much. I am sad to bring this up, but I think it is important we address the abusers who come to this forum. When I go to report abuse, there is not a category for plain abusiveness towards others. I think we need to let the head honcho's here at Answers know we need this category and let them also know we are tired of seeing others, especially our youngest members being verbally abused. A few weeks ago there was some HTTP to copy and paste our question and answers area to our blogs. I couldn't figuare out how to do it right. I tried copy and paste, but it just didn't paste onto my blog. I tried to paste inside differant boxes and also outside the boxes on a clear section without any success. Please help.

I hear so many parents gripping about their childrens behaviors, but sadly, rarely hear them speak of their good qualities or positive achievments. I am concerned about this and wondered what others thought about this.

Somebody is trying to crack into my computer. They tried thirtyfive times today alone. They already got through my router, got that ip somehow. Now they are trying to get inside my computer. HELP
