I have over a hundred DVD covers filling my basement and I want to get rid of them but I'm not sure I can recycle them.. help.

I have a friend who lives in France and is thinking of buying the Canon ES400D (which I believe is called the Canon Rebel XTI in the North American Market) in the US, as it is much cheaper. He has the following questions:

-are they effectively the same camera

- is there the possibility of switching the interface from English to French

- what are the charging issues (i.e. is there a built in transformer)?

- would European accessories be compatible with a camera purchased in the US?

I'm leaving on holiday tomorrow and I just found out that my children have been in contact with a 3 year old with Roseola.

My children are 7 and 10 and have had little contact with him during the past week, just yesterday when his rash broke.

From what I understand, the virus is more common in small children and is only contangious before the rash breaks. Does anybody have an idea what the probability is that my children will come down with it?

i.e. has anyone's 'older' children ever had it?

Would giving mine extra vitamins help them to not contract it?

staying at a friends and have to wash the sheets this morning, but can't for the life of me figure out how to start their Bosch combo V696 washer / drier.... I set up all the dials but there is no 'on' button and I can't pull the dials. So, the question is, how the heck do I start the thing???

I'm taking my son to London for a long weekend, it is his first visit (not mine) and I plan to see most of the major sites. However, I'm sure that he will get bored with walking, museum going and looking at monuments pretty quickly. I would be grateful if a local could suggest a few things that might appeal to him to make the visiting easier, something a non-local wouldn't necessarily know about?

My daughter is 6 and is in the 1st grade. She is acquiring her reading skills and is doing very well. However, I've noticed that she confuses b and d and 'en' with 'ne' (she is a native French speaker) and a few other things that get switched around.

Shall I wait awhile before consulting a therapist as this may be normal in children who are learning to read?
