My 8yr old indoor cat had caught a cold from a cat I was taken care of, she proceeded to get ill very fast within 2 day's she was having a hard time to breath..I took her to the vet yesterday, x-ray's were done showing her stomach & intestines are full of air. She has no fever and her lung's are basically clear. Being that I'm from a small area the vet couldn't do anymore then give me antibiotic's for 7 day's & recommended I drive 3 hr's away to an animal hospital...I love my cat VERY much but just at the vet it cost me $326. My cat Belle has not drink any water since yesterday, we have been trying to wipe water in her mouth etc to no Advil...She has a yellowish froth (foam) in the roof of her mouth and it leak's out on her chin including greenish mucus coming from her nose. We are desperate for answer's...right now we have her in the bathroom once again after running a shower for steam, only thing we can figure out to do to help with congestion & maybe get some moisture in..we also can't take her back to the vet as it is not open on the week-end...Thank you for any help.

We just found out last week that our 16yr old daughter is 6 week's pregnant..a little history first: my daughter has been on the needle since 11 yr's old for a medical condition,she only had 1 period in her life and has a history of cyst's bursting on her ovray's,so DR's suggest to stop her period's till she was an adult and then after she was done growing they would see if there was anything they can do for her..It is very dangerous to have cyst's bursting as they could kill her ovray's..well to make a long story short she has "spotted" every couple of month's and we took her in for a check up and found out she was pregnant, she is not the first one to have this happen to her at a young age and will not be the last one..Her dad and i explained that we would help her UNCONDTIONAL no matter what, she has 2 older sister's that will stick by her also, but alas our daughter has decided to get an abortion on the 3rd of April..I'm all for "woman's body,her decision" but i know that she will regret it for the rest of her life + it will alway's be with us as her parent's that our first grandchild will never be..My daughter just think's there is 2 much against her being a teen-age mom, adoption is out of the question as she stated that she couldn't carry to full term to just hand the baby over(even to her parents, as we offered to help her raise the baby of course)..Any help welcome, anyone that was pregnant as a teen and decided to keep the baby also please offer some advice 2...
