I know they're well off now, having several businesses and a TV show, but I've heard that in the beginning, they relied on welfare in the early days.

I'd like answers backed up with a verifiable source.

I am currently an employee with a major corporation, servicing a contract with one of their customers. Some time soon, another company will be taking over the contract, but the customer wants to keep me on board, so they are considering keeping me on through a staffing company. What questions should I ask before agreeing to sign on?

Someone is harrassing me on the Yahoo news comments section. Their comments are typically rude and vulgar, and not realated to the topic at hand. I've muted this person, but they apparently still follow me to every post I make and are posting crass, demeaning or outright false things about me. This makes it very difficult to carry on a normal conversation with other commenters when every time I post, there are 2-3 disgusting attacks by this person. Is there a stronger measure I can take besides muting them from my sight? Is there a way to prevent them from seeing my posts anymore?

I saw a video where a law enforcement officer with a K9 unit was confronting protesters and threatened one of them to "stay back or you'll get bit."

Is that legal? Can a K9 officer 'brandish' a dog like a weapon?

During the year-long negotiations, it was not just Democrats designing the Affordable Care Act. There was a lot of input from the right and concessions from the left. I also remember a lot of special deals for conservative 'blue-dog' Democrats that made the ACA even weaker and less of a good deal than it should have been.

I recently closed a checking account at Bank of America, and later discovered that once your account is closed and the money is removed, if an automatic payment or credit hits the account, the bank will re-open it without your knowledge. This means they can apply any overdraft fees or other charges, and you may not know about it until months later when you get a gigantic bill. How long after an account is closed can they do this? Forever?

Amongst a long list of memorable quotes, I found one that is unattributed. I'm fairly certain it's from a movie or TV program, likely a period piece, but I cannot seem to find the source.

What I'm looking for is a legal or conclusive source that one could refer to when contesting such a policy. I realize that policies differ from company to company, I'm just looking for lawful precedent. I scoured the Dept. of Labor website and found it ambiguous.

Several years ago, I 'm sure I heard a news report about a hurricane that was travelling in a westerly direction. I remember this because hurricanes always travel west to east, and this was a rare anomaly, but I cannot seem to find any news stories or scientific articles on it.
