She likes me, she likes me not? How to know?
Hi, ok here's what happened.
I've been having a crush on this co-worker girl for a long time. We look at each other a lot, but I have never got the guts to talk to her on an intimate level, until 4 days at work before Valentine's Day when I mustered up some courage to tell her I like her. And I thought what better way to show my feelings toward her than something along a personal touch, rather than buying typical flowers and all that.
So I got her a Valentine's Day card, I wrote a long poem in it and gave it to her. At the end of it, I put PS...if you feel the same way about me, please e-mail me at my e-mail address.
The problem is I haven't heard from her since. And since she hasn't e-mail me yet, I don't want to make the next move to ask her out and risk gettting ejected and looking like a fool. An another thing I almost forgot: I found out the next day she's already got a boyfriend stationed in Afganistan.
I don't know, but do you any of you think she's just ignoring me just to stay faithful to her boyfriend, and trying to be nice and not hurt my feelings, OR, should I just be patient and give her more time to reply to my poem because in this situation, she doesn't know how to respond?
She did blush really red when I told her I like her. Yet, if she did'nt like me, why then did she accept my Valentine's Day card, give me a c'mon look at me a lot and me the same for more than 6 months at work?
Or should I just scrap the whole idea of finding romance at work, since there's a big risk of getting fired or if things don't work out, and yet we still have to work together in a very uncomfortably way.
I would appreciate any ideas at this point.
Thank You,
Signed, Lost and Confused
8 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoPlease tell me, is it human nature to always be better than the next person?
I mean, I see it all the time, when a person is better than another person, at say,a sport such as basketball, or in school, the person who is better will want to gladly help out. But as soon as the person trying to get better becomes better or more able than the 1st person, it seems the 1st person who was doing the helping doesn't want to help anymore. Is this true? sometimes?or depends or the person (s)?

6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoCan a person actually tap into the other 90% brain power and if so, how,how muc a nature vs nurture question?
I was wondering if an average person, better yet, can a mentally challenged person,if he/she is truly determined to and actually dedicates him/herself to develop his/her mind to the fullest? I mean, I know about the flowers for Algernon story, wouldn't it be great if each of us can tap into the other 90% of our brain power like Einstein did? I also know it's up to the individual person's wishes, inspirations, attitudes, outlook, desires, ambitions, how a person deals with his/her past failures and successes, etc., steadfast, unwavering dermination to succeed and do whatever it takes to improve him/herself, but is this lofty and noble goal really realistic today with all its distractions and responsibilities? But, really, who has the time and how much energy would a person need to have in order to reach or uplift his mental capacities? Or does that depends on which level of mental capacities that a person is at now. Or does it depend on having a really good teacher, mentor, etc? Obviously, money and the environment plays a big part, but if a person does not have either, how is a person supposed to go about it, if that is what a person does, indeed, really would like to achieve such as reading doing some of the things and exercises in Thought-Force in Business and Everyday Life by William, Walker Atkinson, Think and Grow Rich, may be some melvin Powers Clasic books, NLP books, etc,. And lastly, if a person wans;t really born with a great mind, does a person have to continuously practice to develop his/her mind? Thank you
