Example of the Taekwondo Black Belt Written test?
I have a 10 year old son who is preparing for his Taekwon do Black belt test. He's not too worried about the patterns or sparing part but is very worried about the written test (he hasn't even done many non multiple choice tests at school). Is there somewhere that I could find a sample test so he would have some idea what to expect?
8 AnswersMartial Arts1 decade agoDoes duct tape really get rid of plantars warts?
My 4 year old has a plantars wart on her foot...we've tried the liquid nitrogen...which is very painful...and it keeps coming back. I've been told that putting duct tape on it will get rid of it. Does anyone know if...how...or why duct tape would work?

My son seems to be showing the signs of it. Any ideas where we can find help in Halifax Nova Scotia?
5 AnswersMental Health2 decades agoHow do I convince my 22 month old to keep her clothes on?
I don't know what she has against being dressed (and considering we live where the snow flies this time of year I don't know why she'd rather be naked). I dress her in the morning and then spend much of my day putting clothes back on her. She's even figured out how to undo overalls. I've taken to wrapping her loosly with masking tape...but I know there must be a better way. Any ideas?
7 AnswersToddler & Preschooler2 decades agoWhat can I send to school for a lunch for my son?
So far in his class there are children with sever allergies to: nuts, milk, eggs, lecithin and citrius. They have epi pens therefore any foods containing them are not allowed. My son is in grade 2 and needs to have some sort of lunch (he's very active in sports and things) but I'm running out of ideas.
Any help would be appreciated.
By the way does anyone else think that instead of telling us what we can't pack in their lunches the school should be providing us a list of what can go in...or be providing lunch for the kids. Just a thought
8 AnswersGrade-Schooler2 decades agoHow do I get my almost 2 year old daughter to give up breast feeding?
My daughter (the one with the new short hairdo...see my previous question) refuses to stop breastfeeding. She will get upset to the point that she throws up if I deny her. We've tried offering a cup...but still being able to cuddle..talking to her etc. so far nothing is working. HELP!!!
5 AnswersToddler & Preschooler2 decades agoWhat is an appropriate punishment for cutting a little sister's hair?
My 4 year old daughter decided to give her little sister a haircut...and is now trying to say that she didn't do it. What would an appropriate consequence for this be? Her poor little sister no longer has any spot on her head with hair long enough for a ponytail (which she loves to wear). What do I do? Right now my 4 year old is in her room "thinking".
