Wait a Minute

I was running late and had to make and my lunch and get ready for a business meeting. I knew if I invited the maids in, they would want to talk and I had no time. I was rushing to get out the door and by talking I would forget something important that I needed to take with me to the meeting. The maids got mad. My wife says I was rude not to invite them in and it is just common courtesy. I said if they were guys, they would understand and come back. Maybe it is just a woman thing? What do you think?
