Looking at going on a family vacation to Hawaii. When is the best time to go and what island would be the best?

Lived in Canada at the time and remember seeing it on the tv in the staff lounge and worrying because I had a friend doing a business trip in the U.S. and I could not remember which coast he was on or where he was. I had to wait all day before I could call his roommate to find out. It was a stressful and sad day.

We just adopted a poor little kitten and I suspect she has a bad case of ear mites. We are taking her to the vet tomorrow, but I don't want my children or myself to get them if they are contagious.

My kitten has been using the litterbox all along and now, he has decided that the playroom is a good place to go ~ he still uses the litterbox, but he uses the corners of the playroom as well. How do I stop him from doing this, or do I just need to get rid of him because he is a "dirty" cat?

I am looking to get a photo editing software program, but not sure what to get. I want it mainly for my digital pictures ~ nothing professional. Then I want to print my digital pictures off and include them in my scrapbook with my "film" pictures.
