  • Florida divorced, how can I remove myself from the mortgage?

My house is also in Florida. We had a quicky divorce because life was so out of control at the time. Now my name is on the mortgage of a house he won't leave, rent, or sell. He is often late on the payments and I don't earn enough money to make up for the huge debt on my credit report. How can I get out of the mortgage so I can try to earn some credit worthiness??? Please, any advice???

  • Washing a cotton sweater that has been stretched out from wear. Need Advice!?

It's a colored sweater mostly cotton and a little nylon from the Gap. I love this sweater and it fit perfect when I bought it, but just from wearing it, it has stretched out and doesn't have the same good fit it used to. I'm thinking of drying it to shrink it but I'm worried about pilling or misshaping or even over shrinking it. Does anyone know what I should do?

  • Searching for a good pda or pocket pc. Looking for opinions from other users.?

I am planning to buy a pda or pocket pc used from amazon because I really don't have much money to spend and I got an amazon gift card. I need it for one main purpose so it must be able to meet this need fully and accurately. I do have other options I prefer as well. During my search I've come to appreciate the many things they claim to do like mp3 players, cameras, and color screens as well as possible bluetooth, but those are bells and whistles that aren't important if the product is unreliable. So I'm asking for your honest opinion on good products and bad products to help me make my choice. I'm looking at many older models that cost less so any info is appreciated.

Main purpose: I need a scheduler and day planner with an alarm to remind me of my appointments. That also means that it will need to stay on all of the time just like my cell phone.

    Other options: Rechargeable battery

    PC connectivity

    Easy to use

    Fits in a small purse

Games to play while waiting in lines and such.

I would like color but it's not necessary.

  • My PC crashed. If I load windows XP again, will I lose everything?

For no obvious reason, my PC stopped loading windows. It goes straight to recovery. I have XP to reinstall but I don't want to lose pictures, documents, and music I haven't backed up. Will reinstalling windows recover my files or will I lose them? If it's bad, can a place like Best Buy recover my system?

  • Who's familiar with Tagged?

It's a website like myspace or facebook but still different. I just started using it and it seems interesting. I got a lot of guys "tagging" me. No big deal but they seem very interested in talking and want my instant messenger info. Is this site just used for sex chat or is it a legitimate friend site?

  • My Greyhound begs for hours to be fed?

We have a Jack Russell, a Rottweiler, and a Greyhound. The first two are obedient but the Greyhound isn't that smart. We feed them 3 times a day and they each get plenty of food. We have them on a strict feeding schedule, the same times everyday. They each have their own bowl and I watch them eat so I know he eats all his own food. We even use a bell to let them know it's feeding time. But the Greyhound will beg for hours before hand and it's a huge nuisance. He wakes up from a nap and then it's on. It doesn't matter what we are doing. He follows us around and gets in our faces clearly expecting to be fed. How can I teach him that WE are the ones who decide when to feed him and that his begging is bad? Honestly, I thought the bell would help but it only works for the other dogs. He was rescued from the track so I understand that he's different but this is driving us nuts. Please help!

  • I need a poem by a true author about a girl named Sarah. Do you know any?

I need this for a school assignment. By "true" author I mean someone that has had there works published, not just any random person posting online. I need to find a poem about a "Sarah" that is loving. A love poem would be best, or lost love, or heartbreak... it only really needs to include the name Sarah at least once somewhere within the poem. Thanks!

  • What legal action can I take against my boss?

I was jailed last night under a charge of domestic battery. I had someone call work and that idiot told my boss that I was in jail and on what charge. I'm close with my boss, I just wanted to tell him myself cause the charge conjurs up so many awful thoughts.

Regardless, my boss told several staff members this same information right after he heard it. I know this because one of the first co-workers he told called me. After many text messages and phone calls coming in, I can see now that every knows.

I had never intended for this to get out and I am very angry. My first thought was to tell him how I feel in a two-weeks-notice letter but then I realized... I don't want to quit. He made this situation and now I'm suffering for it. What can I do?

  • what is the word for taking a part of a story from a book?

like when your only reading a small part of a book that has been "barrowed" in order to inform the reader of something... Honestly I can only think of the word exert, which I know is not right.

  • When you think you might be pregnant...?

Can the stress of thinking you're pregnant cause your period to be late? I took a test cause I have so many pms/pregnancy symptoms but it came out negetive. Everyday I'm just waiting for my period and it's stressing me out. I'm gonna take another test this weekend but I wanted to know if just thinking I'm pregnant will cause pregnant-like symptoms and a late period.

  • Female issue, I'm late but test is negative?

I'm 2-3 weeks late but my pregnancy test this morning said negetive. I plan to take it again in a week if I don't get my period. I had some hot flashes, a couple times a day for a few days. I've had fatigue and exhaustion for at least two weeks. I'm moody and frustrated all the time with very little patience for those around me. My breast have only recently become sore. I would like some experienced opinions. Has anyone else experienced this and found they were/weren't pregnant?

  • I left my husband but now I'm regretful and confused, advice?

I am young, married for 3 years to a good guy. I went thru a major depression that lasted over a year. During that time I was afraid to leave my house, my husband was gone for business for weeks at a time, and our relationship just unravalled. He tried to talk to me but didn't know how and I asked him to help me but he didn't know what to do. We grew very resentful to each other.

I started to think about doubts I had had in the relationship before my depression. I desided that I didn't love him anymore and I wanted to move on so I told him I wanted a divorce despite his and my family and friends telling me to slow down and think it thru.

6 months of seperation and I have started a new relationship. This guy (who seemed so perfect) is really abusive, mostly verbally and mentally but it has escalated into pushing me to the ground a few times. You can understand why I start to think of the loving relationship I had with my ex and that maybe I acted to quick to leave. What should I do?

  • Please respond! What type of relationships have you been in and which do you prefer?

Are you or have you ever been in a relationship where the decision making and delegating (as in "head of household") were predominately made by either the man, the woman, or an equal partnership? Which one(s) have you experienced and what did you like/dislike about it?

  • If you had to choose between a newer car and the one you have...?

I drive a 97 with 95000 miles on it. It is a good car but the value will drop from 7000 to 4300 when it hits 100,000mi. I owe 5000 on the car so if I sell it now, I can get enough to pay off the loan with a little extra (assuming it goes for 6000). Then I could get a newer car I'm looking at, a 2001 w/ 40k mi. for $15,000. I have talked to my credit union and found that I would need a $1000 down payment but my monthly payment would be the same as the one now. Of coarse I want the newer car, but I'm hard on money like everyone else right now and I don't know if this is impulse or rational thinking. I guess my question is, is it better to loose the equity in my old car, forcing me to keep it for several more years OR loose some money investing in a newer vehicle that is in better condition but go into more dept?

  • Another riddle!?

There is one that has a head without an eye,

And there's one that has an eye without a head.

    You may find the answer if you try;

    And when all is said,

Half the answer hangs upon a thread.
