  • Do stupid people know they are stupid?

I just do not understand human stupidity. Stupid people lack common sense, the ability to form a rational thought or comprehend the fact they are just stupid. From the educated on.

  • If someone stole my pet, and held it for ransom-should I reward this person?

Someone stole my ferret out of my yard. June-one of my ferrets did get out, and I offered and paid a $100 reward. This idiot took my ferret, posted something by my house, with a bogus phone number. Realizing, after calling this # all day, I would not get my ferret back. I put out 3 flyers near their house, offering a reward, my phone literally rang within seconds. First I was told it was in their yard, then I was told it was in front of my house. Then I'm told the number was disconnected that was on the flyer. The idiot knew it was my ferret and there was no way my ferret left the yard on his own. He can barely walk. I thought he had crawled under the deck, and searched all damn night!!

  • How to deal with abusive board members?

I recently bought a condo...one of the board members was verbally abusive towards me, with no cause or reason. I was threatened, he called the police on me...all because I had questions about how the board was handling things.... Seriously...I can't stress enough that this man's actions were based on nothing...

  • Can my dog be pregnant if my male dog was JUST neutered??

My male dog was fixed about 5 weeks ago BUT mated with my female dog (not fixed and not really mine). Anyway the vet said he can still impregnate a female up to 4 weeks. When they mated, it had been over 4 weeks. They got stuck for about 15, so I'm wondering if he could have gotten her pregnant. The vet said she doesn't know. My female is still "actively" in heat.

  • What are the chances of getting off heroin?

I know someone who was shooting it up. Low doses to keep from getting sick. She is now in a rehab, and I question daily if she will use again. I believe she will. I believe the urge will always be there, and she is not strong enough to "just say no." Does anyone have experience with a recovering addict, some advice to help me help her thru her recovery?? You would be saving someone's life. This is her first time in a rehab to get clean, and she has been using heroin for at least 4 years.

  • A guy seems like he wants to talk to me...but....?

Ok, this guy started walking by me when I'm on break and he looks directly at me, smiles says hi, and keeps walking. He'll turn around and look at me and smile...but keeps walking. I'm 36, I've dated plenty, but I've never encountered something like this. I can't make the first move. I tried, but....I lost my nerve. I've asked friends and they say to drop something as he walks by, or ask him for the time....stuff like that. I can't do it! What would be a good way to get this flirty guy to STOP and talk to me. I do smile and say hi back and watch him walk away! Drivin me crazy!

  • Child support..lies and excuses!?

What excuses have people heard or used for a reason to not pay child support?

My ex has used visitation, he lives with his elderly mother, and he had to make his "brand new" car payment first.

  • My dog gets some sort of skin rash..?

My dog gets random (or not so random) rashes or...I'm not sure. They start out reddish, then they become sores. I brought him to the vet, and they gave me fish oil to put in his food and told me to only bathe him in wather..no shampoo. I have done these things, but the rashes/sores still develop. I did buy some stuff for "hot spots" and this does help, but the vet said not to use it..but gave me no other options. I can't not use it, because the sores get bigger and he's very uncomfortable. This is the third vet I've been to for this.

My dog is a toy fox terrier...if this matters.

  • Restraining order against a bitter elderly woman!! Yes, I need one!?

I have a child support case with my ex, where I have had to drag him into court to get him to pay. His bitter elderly mother continues to harass me because of this. Like...retaliation. She makes calls against me (INS, DSS, etc). She tried to get a restraining order against me, but couldn't have me served. I don't speak to her, I don't have any contact with her, unless she escorts her son to court for our hearings. Can I actually get a restraining order against her to make her stop???
