Looking for a monochrome all in one for small home office (no photo printing needed); many reviews say they had nightmare experiences with MAC computers. Any recommendations?

Apple denies it, but pro photographers say that CS5 does not run natively on the Mac, since the advent of the intel processors. They also turned down my request to download CS5 on a demo machine to see if it works. If you buy the iMac and return it (e.g., if your programs don't run well with it), there's a 10% restocking fee...

I love my Mac Mini, but it can't handle the high resolution pictures, so I haven't even done a Photoshop trial.

I'm contemplating the above combo, but would rather gather some experiences first. Thanks for any help!!

How much are they worth if in good condition? (From around the 70s or 80s). Thanks for any hints, even just a contact of a jeweler who could estimate the value.

my indoor/outdoor kitty has no problems, just had a yearly checkup. now the vet wants to test blood and stool for heart worm (90 bucks extra in addition to the $400+ for routine shots and exam). is this a routine thing? when do you suspect it in cats, ie. what symptoms? are some vets just trying to make a buck w/expensive lab exams?

I consolidated with Sallie Mae last year. They suck. Late charges for no reason, web site not updated, have to apply for deferment over and over again ... can I leave them and switch to another company?? Thanks for any help.

I'm heading toward the end of my first year and feel like I'm one of the worst doctors in the world -and that I'm in the wrong business. My mountain of debt is the main motivator right now to keep trucking... can't take this stress forever... any input???!?

Other than Freud's 'a*al phase', what's the meaning of dreaming of toilets, having to go and there's tons but none available and/or functioning.....

I've been thinking about migrating from the US to NZ as a family doc. Any experiences to share??? Also, my hubby's a telecom engineer. Is the long-term skill shortage just a game (ie they outsource) or do they need engineers for real?!
