planning on going to AC soon, wanted to know if anyone (within the last 3-6 months) has stayed at an atlantic city casino and actually "seen and played" sic bo there. I've been calling around and alot of casino staff are saying alot of casinos have gotten rid of sicbo a while back.

I find this hard to believe, anyone played or seen sic bo in AC? what were the table minimums?

Hello all..im coming to this forum after lurking for MULTIPLE hours to pick up the information that could help out my concerns. well anyway its gonna be kind of a long read, i hope you take the time out to read and give me a detail response...

So yea, im A 21 years old male (turned 21 in march). I'm currently in college going for my bachelors computer information systems/ technology. I have 1.5 years left. (after this spring 2011 semester)

now i just turned 21. so ALOT of door ways have FINALLY opened up.

I have a 3.5gpa average in college. Im part of of a nation honors society. im currently in the process of doing armed security which pays about 20 dollars an hour starting here in ny (not bad for a 21 year old in college ). Im getting my pistol license as we speak (interview in about 30 days) and then ill take my 47 hour firearms class and start the armed security job. I have a clean record besides 2 parking tickets)

I always had a goal to be a Federal Special Agent. out of the federal Agencies.

FBI, DEA, ICE(HIS) AND USSS all stood out to me. Yes i know there are different mission and objectives

FBI (criminal investigations, drug trafficking, and etc),

DEA(heavy drug , undercover work, narcotics, kidnapping etc)

ICE( criminal and civil investigations involving national security threats, terrorism, drug smuggling, child exploitation, human trafficking, illegal arms export, etc)

USSS(protection and etc)

these four really stood out to me...

Now OUT OF THE THREE.. i primarily would prefer to be FBI followed by either ICE OR SS

lastly DEA

now i see what they are looking for.. Bachelors degree, clean record, physical and mental fitness and etc

Now whats bothering me is i dont know if i should be doing what at this point....

Let me explain.

the FBI isn't hiring to the general public (what the website says) yet im cool with alot of nypd officers and they told me they are still recruiting police officers to apply for the FBI. (like a closed applicant process from the nypd)

So i got the idea, maybe i should get into the NYPD, assuming i pass the test and etc (which im sure i can )

Ofcourse they would still need to call me back, and i would be on the waiting list...

then i also thought.. going the nypd route would look good when i applied for FBI or one of the other above listed agencies..

plus to become a captain all they require is a bachelors degree with good on the job performance, (i know i have to start at the bottom and rise to the top, no problem with that)

captains top pay is 120k+ for nypd. nice salary indeed... so i figure, worst case scenario ( i cant get into a FEDERAL AGENCY OF MY CHOICE) if i work my *** off i can still obtain a prestigious position and make a great salary.

i still would love to be FBI though. I'm stuck however, i wanna get things in the mill now while im going to college..

My original plan was to do armed security while i finish my bachelors and then go to apply for FBI or the other agencies i listed...

thats the basic gist,

I think the FBI life style is okay for me, i dont want kids, (had a vasectomy), im cool with moving if required.. so im trying to see whats my best bet at this point..

okay i have legal service with earthlink standard with cablemax through time warner cable, now my speed range is supposed to be 15mbps

well i went and did a speed test at speedtest.net

and i got

14.78MBPS DOWNSTREAM AND .70MBPS UPSTREAM

so thats about right, mind you this is with the stock modem RCA DCM425 modem. now when i go to download stuff, i get capped at around 1.78MBPS! this makes no sense! i should be getting my downloaded files at much higher than 1.78mbps correct?

this speed of 1.78 is the same whether the modem is directly hooked up to the computer or through my wireless router, but once i ad another load on, (my xbox360 on netflix) the speed drops down to 1.01mbps!

these speeds are garbage, is there a reason this is happening? (no one else is on my network, im sure of that)

anything i can do to fix it, remember this is STOCK MODEM WITH LEGITIMATE service hooked up less than 2 hours ago.

well, i noticed something on the way riding today,

i had came from doing about 50 down 1st gear to around 10 or so and completely closed the throttle and noticed the bike continued to move forward without stalling out with the clutch untouched... is my clutch slipping?

it will stall if i pull the brakes, and the clutch is out, which is normal.

Also when i start from a dead stop and let the clutch out without giving it gas, it stalls like it should.

im just confused on why the bike just kept going without stalling when the throttle was closed, idk.

any input?

well guys.. i have to make a decision i plan on just selling my bike but i want everything working on it and etc..

i bought the bike with an intergrated tail kit, but the tail right turn signal doesnt work..

im low on cash with less than 100 to work with... and the replacement kit is 140+ mind you its not just the bulb, the right turn signal board is just done.. (possibly fried, i didnt abuse it or anything, but my mechanic couldnt get it to work after 3 hours of rewiring)

i have some turn signals from my last bike, whic his also smoke black like the tail end of my bike (gsxr 750 SRAD 1999)

my mechanic can fabricate the mounting hardware as the turn signals didn't come with any.

problem is , they are flat turn signals (not flush) but meant for flat body work (fairings)

my bike has a curved end in the back, for where they would be ( the rear) i want to get this done and over with and sell my bike but i just dont know i should tell him to put them in... besides the flat vs curved bodywork, it would look fine.. i just need some advice.

should i go ahead with the flat turn signals if it is done the best it can be done? (clean job)

like i said time is a factor and my money is shot...

I have a few myths i have heard ive been searching all over google for the answer and i have found it exactly... just alot of OPINIONS...

the myth are:

1.REVVING (BLIP-PING) YOUR BIKE UNDER 8K IN "NEUTRAL" WILL BURN YA CLUTCH AND CAUSE ENGINE DAMAGE EVEN AFTER PROPERLY WARMING UP THE BIKE. (ABOVE 8 WILL TOAST YOUR ENGINE)

2. REVVING THE BIKE WITH THE CLUTCH PULLED IN, IN FIRST GEAR AT A STAND STILL WILL BURN THE CLUTCH

3.SYNTHETIC OIL BURNS CLUTCHES.

4. SHIFTING ABOVE 10K RPMS CAUSES CLUTCH BURNING/SLIPPAGE.

5. REVVING WITH THE CLUTCH PULLED IN BURNS THE CLUTCH?

I really want to know what the truth is. IS it safe to rev your bike around 8k rpms in neutral? to both the clutch and engine?

Hello, i recently wanted to invest into some frame sliders and/or a crash cage to replace the premium jump on my motorcycle for the addition of collision coverage, so i wanted to get frames sliders and a crash cage to replace the collision coverage.

I couldnt get any direct info on what exactly does the frame sliders protect and what exactly the crash cage protects? and is there any part critical other pieces i should buy to protect my core pieces of my bike? Which one provides the most protection? as a crash cage cost more than frame sliders. So thats my plan for this bike i need some info from bikers who use these. Any cheap but good quality sources for frame sliders and crash cages?

Besides riding safe, any other safety mods recommended?

HELLO GUYS. i recently installed java on my laptop and i was trying to manually delete firefox to reinstall and i delete all my java files... from my java installation... now my recycling bin automatically deletes it all. So now its not allowing me to reinstall it over the current broken java(no files for it) yet it is still showing up in my add/remove programs list and wont let me remove it. and i wanted to know how can i delete it so i can do a new installation of it. tyvm btw i have windows xp service pack 3

OKAY you guys said the one i listed for 250cc was a bad idea. it had 15.6bhp and was 4 stroked, and can go 80 mph

that bike would have cost me 2000 dollars, brand new, shipped and all.

Are these street legal? in other words can put this on my motorcycle that i have registered and insured, and ride on the highway, public roads and etc and not get a ticket or anything.

1. The CD was broken during shipping, apparently due to poor packing.

2. you listed an additional USB cable for the player, in which case I'll get TWO usb cables. After I receive the package, you told me the original cable sometimes has problem when transferring data (didn't mention this in the list)

3. It looks like the screen of the player is slightly flashing, make it annoying when playing video. (I had one same player before, I think this player's screen is not normal to my best knowledge).

4. Listed the player as "great condition", but the mp3 player shows very serous wear.

1. the cd was put into the BOX the zen came in and was very well packed.

2.as you know, as items eventually wear when used for years, now the sync cable that came with the zen was 3 years old. and sometimes depending on how you attached it to the usb, would sometimes hault syncing for a second. So what did i do out the goodness of my heart, i went and spent my own money and bought him a brand new perfect conditioned sync cord, so he would run into no problems

3. yesterday he mentioned the cd was broke, and now he brings up this morning that the screen is flashing. THE SCREEN WAS FINE! I HAVE PICTURES TO PROVE IT! THE ONLY WAY I SEE THERE BEING A PROBLEM WITH THE SCREEN IS THROUGH TRANSIT.

4. i described all the flaws in the player in the ebay listing: ( minor scratch on screen and a few light scratches NOT EVEN VISIBLE AS U CAN SEE FROM PICS & a bit of leather coloring rubbed off on the back due to it being in the case. Not visible at all when put into the case.

5. i said all sales were final, no returns or refund in the listing. It even stated the shipping method, should have added insurance which i had available for him as optional.

cause first off as u can see in my ebay listing i state the item has scuffs in the appropriate section, and it has black die on the back from the case rubbing off on it. and that the scuffs are from the case and player friction and not from misuse.

some people are telling me this doesnt qualify as item recieved SIGNIFICANTLY different then advertised

due to:

1. the cd doesnt affect the player in anyway

hello i have a scenario i want u guys to tell me what the case is. Now I'm going to college in about 2 weeks. And i told my mother to ask her social workers agency for us if they knew any resources to get my a laptop for college. she said yes should would.

so she goes and ask her social worker and she runs it to her boss. Her boss says he'll look into things. I remind my mother to call him and ask the status daily.

She does and today he says the voucher would take too long so instead he orders my a laptop (nice guy i know) so the social worker tells my mom the news and I'm happy as hell. (mind u the boss of the social worker could lose his job for personally buying me a laptop for me. Now my mom is threaten to take the laptop for herself. Now my questions are..

1.can she legally take a lap top thats being sent as gift to me for college?

2.If i was to call the cops and tell them she took my laptop that was sent to me from her social workers boss from request would she have to give it back?

3. If she was to take it and give it back to the guy who purchased it for me. Would that be legal or would that still qualify as my item and an act of stealing since it was bought for me unconditionally as a gift?
