  • Need parts for an old avage model 60 rifle & Stevensmodel 235 12ga.?

I have an old Savage model 60 22 long rifle that had the bolt broken of many years ago. The Savage website says they do not provide parts or service to their equipment prior to 1995. I NEED A BOLT. My second search is for a forearm stock for an old J Stevens Arms & Tool Company double barrel 12 guage shotgun. The forearm stock was worn and fell off never to be found again many years ago, was wonderin if anyone could help in locating that part. I have looked on the web and in gun magazines but not with any real success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • What are the rules regarding Health Savings Accounts?

I started a new job back in Aug. 2006. My employer offers a group health insurance plan but it is not a very good one and has a high deductible. The company dropped the ball in getting me signed up for the plan in time and now their not so good plan isn't even going to cover a pre-existing condition. I talked to the boss and came to an agreement that in lieu of being covered under their plan they would just contribute $130 monthly (the same amount they would pay to put me on their plan) to a Health Savings Account that I could use to pay medical expenses. He came back and said that he could not make good on the agreement because he was told I had to have some type of insurance coverage to contribut to an HSA. He also said that the max I (or the company on my behalf) could contribute to one of these type accounts is $1100 annually. Which is $460 less than what we agreed upon. Can anyone explain the rules of HSA's to me and what other options I might consider to work this out?

  • Need help adding a new HP laptop to an existing XP home network.?

I have asked this question once and the 4 answer I recieved were of no help. Hoping a second asking will net better reults. I have print and file sharing turned on as I am able to share printers and files between the 2 desktops that make up the original network in this problem:

I have a new HP laptop running XP. I have two desktops running XP that are currently networked via a LinksysG (model WRT54GS v4). The network is encrypted with WEP. I have been able to add the laptop to the network and access the internet but I am having trouble accessing the shared printers and files on the desktops from the laptop. I can see the laptop from the other computers when I view the workgroup, but I can't see the other computers when I view the workgroup from the laptop. When I have tried to add a shared printer I get a message that I may not have permission....contact the administrator). I have stepped through the help files several times with no success. PLEASE HELP!

  • How can I get an electric Utility line rerouted by the provider?

My neighbors electrical supply line comes from a pole on the opposite side of the back of my lot from where his house sits. The line bisects the back half of my lot and is killing a tree in my backyard. I am considering puttin in a pool next year but this line would hang directly over the pool. How can i get the utility (which I'm sure has an easment) to reroute this line across the back of my lot and then make a 90 degree turn up to my nieghbors, all they would really need to do is install another pole and run to it and then up to his house. How do I get this done without having to pay for it myself and without causing a legal war?.

  • Can anyone tell me how (if it is even possible) to reface wooden kitchen cabinets myself using metal?

I am looking for references for this as a do it yourself project. Would prefer to use stainless steel or maybe even copper. Not sure exactly where to purchase the metal and the best way to cut it to size.
