What are the Health risks associated with Long Haul Flying and how can you minimise them?
I fly several thousand KMs to and from work once a month which includes a 12 1/2hr long haul flight in Economy class. The obvious health problems such as DVT and jetlag I know about but I would like to know what other issues there are and how I can minimise the risks to my health (other than not flying which is not an option)
6 AnswersAir Travel1 decade agoWhy does the UK still insist on using miles and yards on road signs?
The UK went metric in 1971 yet 35 years and 2 generations of drivers later we are still using miles and yards for distance and speed on our roads.
Isn't it about time we changed to metric and let the old archaic mile go? After all the number of drivers who have no idea what a mile actually is is increasing every year. How long do we have to hold on for the older driver??
24 AnswersCommuting1 decade agoTestosterone effects on the body - why would someone use it in sport?
OK, Floyd Landis is accused of using testosterone in the Tour de France on day 17 when he made his amazing recovery and effectively won the race. The question I want to know is would testosterone have helped him do that?
