I need four rhyming pairs of names. Each pair should start with the same two letters. Two pairs should be male, two should be female. Help?
For example, May and Kay, Myla and Kyla. I need four such pairs, two male and two female, and each pair should start with the same two letters. For example:
May and Kay
Myla and Kyla
Mevin and Kevin
Myle and Kyle
...except with actual names instead of Mevin and Myle. Any help?

5 AnswersBaby Names6 years agoBesides a security system, what steps can I take to secure my apartment?
I like in an ungated apartment complex.
The door to my apartment is an inside door, and the hallway leading to it requires a door code, so I'm pretty safe there I think.
The outside is a little more difficult, though. I have a porch that borders the parking lot, but sunken: there are stairs down from the parking lot to my building, and my building borders the parking lot, so it would be possible to jump the fence down onto my porch -- or, onto the slanted roof up to my bedroom window.
Aside from getting a security system and putting its signs on my doors/windows, what other steps are recommended to making my apartment secure -- or, at least, unappealing to potential intruders ;)
4 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoI need help brainstorming a word that fits these criteria?
The world must:
- Contain either the letters 'R' and 'Y', or the letters 'M' and 'E', in order. For example, RaYs, MilEage, MEters, RYan. YouRs, gEM, etc. will not work because the letters are in the wrong order.
- Fit into the sentence, "You will always hold my _____." in a romantic way. For example, "You will always hold my heart/soul/dreams." Words like Hope, Future, Inspiration, etc. would work if they fit the letter requirement.
Any help?
1 AnswerWords & Wordplay1 decade agoWhat is a word that means "Having a high emotional intelligence"?
Could also mean 'deeply in tune with the emotions of others', kind of a form of wisdom...
Something similar to 'intuitive', 'discerning', 'perceptive', 'empathetic', 'sensitive', 'sympathetic', but not those words.

1 AnswerFacebook1 decade agoWhat types of distributions would be best suited to these two situations?
- Number of potholes per mile.
- Odds of being elected to an office, where a person can only hold one office and the likelihood of his getting an office changes after the president is elected, then vice president, and so on (they vote on one officer on each ballot).
For the first one, I think Poisson, but I'd like confirmation. For the second one, I have no idea -- I've never heard of a distribution like that.
2 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoIs alcohol tolerance more closely tied to how often you drink at all or how much you drink when you do?
I know that the more you drink over time, the less impact the same quantity of alcohol will have on you. What increases that though? How frequently you drink, or how much you drink when you do? Or do they have different impacts?
To use a weightlifting analogy, in weightlifting you might do twenty repetitions with a light weight, or one lift with an extremely heavy one, and they'll impact you differently. Is there a similar thing for alcohol?

u=f(x,y)
x=s*e^t
y=sin(t^2)
(d^2)u/(ds)(dt) = ?
That is, second order mixed partial derivative of that function.
No, it's not a homework question -- it's actually relevant to my graphics project.
2 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoWedding etiquette question -- bringing a guest?
I've always been under the impression that if a wedding invite says "and guest", you bring a guest, but if it doesn't, you don't.
However, a wedding invite I just received doesn't say "and guest", but the RSVP form does ask "How many guests?"
I'm assuming that means "If you have a wife/girlfriend, bring her -- otherwise, don't go out of your way to find one." Am I right?

Say, when you're asking someone you just met out on a date. Is it considered appropriate to give her your business card instead of actually writing out your number?
2 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoWhat's a good way to find a low airfare with both flexible dates and destinations?
We're planning to go backpacking through Europe, so both our dates and destinations are rather flexible. We'd like to land somewhere in Ireland and depart from either Italy or Switzerland, and we'd like to go sometime in June.
Sites like Travelocity aren't good for this because you can only search one destination and date at a time. We've got a dozen possible destinations and dates, so it would take forever to search all the possibilities that way.
Any suggestions?
1 AnswerAir Travel1 decade agoIf you want to stop thinking about something, will writing it down make it easier or harder?
For example, a particular memory about someone (good, but bittersweet -- from a break up, for example), or a particular thought about what someone's doing now: will it help to write down what you're thinking, or will that only make you dwell on it more?
