How do you find multiplied Taylor Polynomials?
Like, I know when you have something like xcosx, you'd just multiply the series for cosx by x. But what about when you have two functions in one, like [(e^x)cosx] about 0? The question I'm trying to solve wants me to find the first four nonzero terms.
2 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoWhere can I find gifts for people with one arm?
My teacher only has one arm, so I'd like to get a gift (an end-of-the-year thing) that's designed for handicapped people. Like, a ruler with rubber on the bottom perhaps so you can hold it down with only a finger while you trace with the same hand, etc.
Do such gifts exist?

8 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoWhen studies say the US spends more on healthcare, what exactly does that mean?
How does it cost the government-- is it those on welfare, etc?
Does it take into account what other nations pay in taxes, or what other nations' healthcare workers earn?
[yes I realize I posted this in two categories]

1 AnswerOther - Business & Finance1 decade agoWhat exactly is a "neocon"?
It's bandied around so much around here, I'm wondering if anyone even knows what that term really indicates. Some say it's the liberals who became conservatives (based on etymologies, that is the most logical); some think it's a hardcore conservative.
12 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoOn the AP Chinese exam, is there a disadvantage in using traditional characters?
I've been learning Taiwanese traditional characters for many years, and was thinking about taking a shot on this exam. But, I've heard an experience (from a different exam) where those using traditional characters took too long writing and couldn't finish, but those using simplified had enough time.
Do they make accomodations for this?

28 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoHow many people are medically uninsured?
And for those people that are insured, are their insurance policies adequate?
In short, how necessary is Obama's health plan? I don't believe it to be a universal policy, but how high up on the income ladder does it cover?
10 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoHow much would a national healthcare 'base' cost the nation?
In the US, if we installed a socialized health-care option adequate enough to cover those who are not already insured, how much would this cost our nation, and could we afford it?
Would the cost be covered by drawing a percentage from everyone's taxes?
13 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhat are the benefits of diversity?
Perhaps I'm a bit naive in this matter. I was flipping through a college viewbook, and it had an interview in it with an Irish girl. She said it was weird how everyone in her old neighborhood was Irish.

11 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoWhy are Hondas considered good cars?
I'm just a little confused. My dad is a huge auto-buff, and he says every Japanese car he's come in contact with is a piece of crap, but all these internet reviewers say Honda is the best all-around car.
Plus, my family (the Chinese side of it) drives nothing but Hondas and Toyotas, and they keep buying them after keeping them for only several years. It's like all these reviewers are saying that they are great cars, when no one's really ever owned one for more than ten years. My dad's been driving his Chevy station wagon for more than fifteen years now; I understand that American makes have had their pitfalls in the past.
But what makes Japanese cars so great?
