Federal Jobs? How do you find these kinds of jobs? Where do you apply? Any links would be helpful.?
I've heard that there are Fed Jobs for support staff at remote locations that require you to be there for a certain period, 3 months to 6 months for example, and that since you are at a remote location, such as a polar base, you recieve bonuses and/or hardship pay. I saw this covered on one of the major network's news programs at least 2 years ago, and it was mentioned that the people who did these jobs regularly came back because the pay was so high, one example was a kitchen worker who worked for 6 months and recieved 60,000 dollars.
3 AnswersCareers & Employment1 decade agoA question about atheism, please read.?
Christianity has contributed to the arts(funding some of the greatest works of the Renaissance) and literature (the Cyrillic language was created by Christian missionaries and the printing press was funded to print Bibles), thousands of hospitals, orphanages, colleges and universities were created by Christianity. Please note that I have said nothing about salvation, grace, or redemption.
Please list for me some examples of contributions by atheism, however, since I listed no spiritual benefits of Christianity, I will except no answers of “freeing people from superstition” or other claims of benefits to those holding atheistic views. Only answers that site examples of how atheism has benefitted society in general. Thank you.

2 AnswersQuotations1 decade agoIn Michigan is there a requirement that an insurance agency must give you a copy of an accident report?
Within a set period of time? Since they have a vested interest in you being convicted (allows the insurer to more than double the fee you must pay to a private corp. to drive on public roads) and keeping this information from you would hinder your defense, is there any legal requirement that they must give it to you within a set period of time. I know that this would protect the citizenry from predatory practices by insurance companies but there might accidentally be a law that isn't exclusively in their favor, right?
2 AnswersInsurance1 decade agoWhat do you think of this disclaimer sticker for science textbooks?
Attention!
In compliance with state law and several court rulings, this textbook contains only information favorable to the theory of evolution. In compliance with court rulings and due to threat of lawsuit by the ACLU no books contrary to the theory of evolution are allowed in the school library. In compliance with court rulings teachers who present any information that disparages or refutes the theory of evolution may be suspended, disciplined or terminated from their position (please contact the principle if this occurs).
A judge has ruled that evolution is science and therefore cannot be questioned or examined critically, as such we cannot and will not teach or present any information that does not support, uphold or defend evolution, a legally established science.

2 AnswersBiology1 decade agoWhat news story do you know about that is under-reported or not discussed that you think should be?
Like the discovery that there is more oil in Gulf of Mexico than in Middle East, or the oil discoveries in Montana, Utah, Lake Michigan ect., or that the US got the Nazi formula for gasoline from coal and lost in in the National Archives, or that there were several comics and magazine that featured depictions of death and destruction in NYC before 9-11-01, but that were published before it happened (e.g. the cover of JSA for Sept. was distributed in August and had a giant sceleton lying between WTC towers.). Anything weird or under-reported like that.
