  • Penalty for driving with more than one passenger under 19 in Missouri?

My daughter is 16 and has her intermediate driver's license. She recently got into a car wreck with two other 16 year olds in the car. She has a court appearance in a few months and I was wondering if anyone knew what penalty she is likely to get?

  • Head lice a reason to get joint custody changed?

Every time my children go to their dad's house for the weekend they come home with lice. This has been going on for several months and I have spent hundreds of dollars on treatments every time they come home. I have spoken with him repeatedly with him getting more angry and belligerent every time. He won't help pay for the treatment or treat his own family which includes two young children of his own with his new wife. So what do I do? Call DFS and report him for neglect? Hire a lawyer? Is there anything that I can legitimately do to fix this? I feel like if he cared for his kids he would take care of the issue but since he hasn't I think it's my job to step in.

  • Question about android tablets?

I am considering getting my daughter an android tablet for Christmas but don't know much about them. Do they connect via wifi or do you have to have a plan like android phones? Also where is a good place to get apps for them? I have always used iTunes but don't want to spend the kind of money that they want for the iPad. Thanks for any information that you can pass along.

  • Need the title of a game?

I'm looking for the title of an online game and where it can be found if possible. The object of the game was to draw lines and section of parts of a square without the line being hit by bouncing balls. You won if you got a certain percentage of the square sectioned of or if you caught all the balls. We used to play this on the old kiwi site that doesn't seem to be active anymore. Thanks.

  • New to raw food needing some practical advice?

I'm really dedicated to doing a raw food diet and so I've been reading lots and lots of books on the subject but I was hoping I could get some feedback from real-life people who are living this lifestyle. A lot of the information is different book to book, specifically one book recommended drinking herbal tea and another said that tea was a toxin and the only drinks should be purified water and fresh vegetable juices. Those of you are doing a raw food lifestyle, have you cut tea out of your diets?

Also the sources I have recommend only eating organic fruits and vegetables and that's just not practical where I live. The nearest natural food market is over an hour away and it seems like I am buying produce on a daily basis. In your experiences does organic really make a huge difference?

Thanks for any answers and I hope that everyone answers this the way it is intended. I really want to get healthy and I'm hoping that raw food is the way to achieve that so I'm hoping to get as much information as possible.

  • Any tips for building yourself back up after having the flu?

I've had the flu or a cold for about a month now and am just exhausted all the time. It's getting better now (the only symptom left now is a wicked cough) but I still am having a really time getting built back up physically. I used to walk several miles a day and now get winded walking through the grocery store. Any tips, homeopathic remedies or advice?

  • Any tips for a person trying to do a raw food diet?

I'm really interested in the health benefits of doing a mostly raw diet ( I read that even 75% raw is still considered a raw diet). Is there any books or sources that were invaluable when you made your dietary changes? Any tips or advice for a newbie? I'd be particularly interested in any kind of websites with a support chat or meal plans, also any books or other sources that are helpful.

  • Reoccuring fever after tick bite?

My 3 year old son got a tick bite on his scalp. Unfortunately he was at his dad's house when he got the bite so I don't know how long it was on him. This was approximately 4 weeks ago and after 2 round of antibiotics the spot is still knotted with a sore and he occassionally has fevers of 102-103 but only at night. The doctor finally sent off for blood tests to check for tick related diseases. My question is if anyone else has experienced anything similar to this? It's been about a week since the blood work was sent off and we still haven't heard anything so I thought I'd check and see if anyone recognized the symptoms? To be honest his doctor is perplexed and said if the second round of antibiotics don't work he'll send us to a disease specialist.

  • What happens when the parent paying child support is temporarily disabled?

My ex has been off of work for 3 months. Now all his sick pay has been used so childsupport payments have stopped and he keeps putting off his return to work date and is even talking about having another surgery done. Does anyone know what my rights are at this point? I might be more sympathetic but it's common knowledge that he is working under the table and isn't any hurry to go back to his actual job. Will they make him pay out of pocket or will I have to wait until he is back at work to get support? Has anyone experienced this situation? Oh, by the way we are in Missouri if that makes a difference.

  • What is needed to get a notebook online?

I recently puchased a 2nd hand Dell notebook/laptop and am basically clueless. I'd like to use it to get online but am not sure what I will need to accomplish this. The notebook does have online capabilities but I'm not sure if I need a card or something to tap into wireless internet or if I have to subscribe to an internet provider. Like I said I'm basically clueless about notebooks so any information or links would be appreciated.

  • Enzymes in Cheese?

I've been a vegetarian for a couple of months now and have continued to eat cheese and eggs. Recently I was told that some cheese has enzymes from baby cow's stomaches. When you look at the ingrediant list it just says enzymes. How do you know what type of enzyme is in the cheese? Any links would be appreciated. I'm especially interested in sliced cheese.
