I'm nearly certain it's more appropriate to wait to move my daughter from one school district to another school district until after the current school year is complete. I'm looking for any information that might provide concrete details as to why this would be a better option. Help?

I'm visiting Germany for the first time for a week. I'm wondering how much cash I should plan to bring, and whether it's less costly to use a credit card or a debit card for other purchases while I'm there.

The engine cranks, it just doesn't start. I still have a half tank of gas in the vehicle. All power appears to be working. New Fuel pump within the last month - new fuel filter at the same time.

Alternator is less than a year old - and battery is still in good shape. Both held up through the Minnesota winter just fine. I don't have a second person here now to help me check for spark. What if there is no spark? What if there is? Where do I go after checking for spark?

Had some recent issues which were never confirmed, or even repaired - see previous questions for those details if needed.

1999 Oldsmobile Bravada. Roughly 100k miles. I just got done having a new fuel pump installed for failure, also had the fuel filter changed. Within days after having this done, the service engine soon light came on, yet no new performance issues have been noticed. I have experienced Transmission slip between 1st and second, and between 2nd and third, but this has happened before the fuel pump. The light went off for a week or so - thought it was fuel related as I noticed it off after refueling. This time I refueled the light came back on again! Suggestions? Thoughts? Where would I begin?

Do you know where I can find any such evidence to support this? Satire is perfectly ok as well!

I read the following story today, and found myself sickened by what I am reading. Especially since our government has a hard time passing budget bills to support our troops overseas. You can bet that there would never be a scenario where their own spending might be suspended due to lack of budget agreement!

Why is it that when states are faced with budget shortages, or severe weather as is the case today in some parts of the country, they close down "nonessential state offices". Ummmm, if they are non-essential, why do they exist in the first place? Why not close them permanently ?

What are some "extras" that you take the time to do with the intent of making a positive first impression, that isn't normally part of your getting ready to go out (or getting ready for your day) routine?

Doing a criminal background and financial credit check on someone you are interested in dating? Certainly these could potentially affect my personal level of interest in a relationship, yet I don't think I would ever consider doing this. What are your thoughts?

Often times we as christians are told to let God and Jesus into our lives, our hearts, and our minds. Yet at the same time, being so devoted we are referred to as God-fearing individuals? Doesn't this almost seem contradictory?
