Birth control has left me traumatized. I was prescribed the pill with a dosage that was way to high for my body causing an overdose which was not a pretty picture. Since then I have been scared of going on birth control again. My main method has been condoms. But now since I am in a committed relationship he just pulls out.

I was on birth control for many years, and was not happy with the side affects. When my husband and I got married, he pulled out until we were ready for children. We had two, and used condoms in between instead of me getting back on the pill) After the miscarraige of our third unexpected pregnancy, he had a vasectomy, which is wonderful, but only useful for those in a commited relationship.

Im 25 & I was on DEPO for 8 years...I was recently diagnosed with osteoporosis, caused by the shot!
I tried NUVA-RING...you left that out....which is a great method, leave the ring in for 3 weeks, keep out for 1 & replace. Unfortuantely it wouldnt stay put, of course the dr. had never had that problem with it before...just me! DAMMIT
So now im on the pill, I have my phones alarm set to go off every night @ 9 or else I would forget.
WHY are you asking this kind of question? lol

I had my tubes tied. It's been 6 years and it has worked so far with no side effects. Of course I have three kids and I don't want any more so this wouldn't work for someone that just wanted to space the time between children.

Why does anyone think pulling out is a method of birth control? There is enough concentrated semen in precum to get you pregnant, and it only has to go in once and only one sperm needs to make it to your egg. Just be aware that your chances of getting pregnant are very high!!

Hey never heard of the chewing gum......guess once I use it, it may become my preferred method from now on
