I mean it'd be full of radioactive pollution and stuff. WOuld they still want it? Would it sovle all these stupid wars over a dumb city? It would become the Unholy city...=D

Supposing that a person has a spirit and a body, (a soul).

Would their individual molecues, atoms, elements? Have spirits as well? Are the spirits all working together? Or is it just one big spirit? If your blood is sampled and drawn out of your arm and it lays in a tube, the blood cells inside are still alive even though they have been removed from the main body. Did you split your spirit (like a horcrux)? Or are you still connected through invisible bondings?s

What makes "the universe" the universe. If the universe is expanding then what is it expanding out into? What void is there outside, what does it consist of? The area of space outside the universe, is at least a vacumm and must not contain matter then what does it contain?

If there were multiverses then the space(or something else) inbetween them would have to 'exist', but what would it consist of? Is it an area of lesser 3rd, 2nd and 1st demensions, where the 'expansion' of the universe is really just the expansion of time. (This would really then place us in a 5th demension as time is increasing as in clock time and time is increasing as in area affected by time.)

Of course nobody really knows so what are your ideas?

Cygnus X-1 is a double binary star, I've been looking for a date of about when the black hole half would have exploded and collapsed. I read somewhere the star was very short lived (only about 3-4 million years).

Anyone know of a good webpage about this star (X-1)? Apparently this star went supernova a long while ago and I'm trying to figure out a date of about when it would have happened. Any info on stuff about the supposed black hole would also be welcome. Thank you very much.

Ok so people on yahoo are almost constantly asking question's about alien's in the Astronomy & Space section. So I want a short story 1-3 pages about the alien's attacking us (or us attacking the alien's) best story gets 10 points. So its not really a question, forgive me.

I don't believe that alien's have visited us yet. Nor do I think that they will. But, Who will arive first at the point where galactical travel is possible? Us? Or the alien's? And if we DO get to their planet first are we such cold blooded people that we'll make Independence Day for them?

Ok lets assume that our sun suddenly turned into a black hole. (I know its not possible, so don't tell me so.) Because the location of the sun does not change it just centerizes to marble. How far would the event horizion (the point of no return) extend out. Past mercury, 2 inches?

If we discovered a way to propell an undestructable space craft to the speed of light (physically pushing it) how would we slow it down. Since the craft is traveling at the speed of light it becomes light and light never stops so how would we manage to turn the "craft" back into matter? Would it be possible to use gravity to slow down the "craft"?

Jellyfish catch food, move together in packs and do all kinds of complex things. Yet they don't have brains. How do they do this?

I'm asking because I want to know why some people die when struck by lightning why some don't and why some go deaf.

We know that we can create fusion, as demonstrated by nuclear bombs and stars. But can we create negative fusion? The fusion that we would normally think about would be considered postive fusion because it takes place at extremely hot tempatures, but can we create negative fusion, which is fusion backwards. Instead of being extremely hot negative fusion would be extreme cold past the absolute zero marker, backwards basically. Would this act like fission, or is it considered cold fusion? The tempatures involved would be around -30 Kelving Scale. Would the resulting affect cause time to go backward, and thus lead to time bombs?

But is this affect even possible? Probably not because we can't find or create a substance (yet) that is colder than absolute zero. Is there a way to suck energy from things instead of using "ice cubes"? Perhaps this is what a black hole does.

SPOILERS FOR BOTH ERAGON AND ELDEST, LOOK AWAY!!!

At the end of Eldest, Eragon finds out that Murtagh is much stronger than Eragon and trashes his butt. I have pondering on this trying to figure out why. I have come to the conclusion that both Galbatorix and Murtagh are using their True names to inhance themselves. Galbatorix took a while to come to the strength he has so I have assumed strengthening yourself this way causes distress or/and pain. Murtagh took such a short time because Galbortix just repeatledly tortured him increasing his strength, and it took him a longer time because he dosn't enjoy torturing himself. But with other people, who cares it dosn't hurt him. Now my question is How many of you agree? Or at least think its a good idea??? Thanks.

Ok heres the deal:

Story takes place 3000B.C. at the American continent I wrote without thinking ahead that some of the characters get stuck in a stable scrubbing horses like servants. (Its not really important to the storyline that they got stuck there.) However horses do not exist on this continent (or so they think) so they can't be doing stable work. So what can I replace the stable with? What kind of work can they be doing instead?

I need not to learn how to make codes, but to learn additional codes besides basic ones.
