  • Do you know of any good French Knitting projects?

    My twin daughters are into french knitting and so far have made some coasters and "Rapunzel's hair" for a class project. They are really keen to keep going so I'm wondering if there are any ideas on how to use french knitting to make things. Apart from rugs and coasters and toy snakes, I'm stumped.

  • How to remove calcium build-up ?

    Hi, I have a *really* old toilet and it must have about a decade of calcium build up in it. Does anyone have some good ideas for removing it that are also environmentally friendly? I'm not sure how many years it has been like that because we've only moved in a short while ago, but I'm guessing a long long time.

  • How can I find out about what Jewish people believe?

    Would anyone (particularly Jewish people) be able to point me to some credible websites and books that can help me learn what Jewish people believe. Specifically, I am interested in their interpretation of the early books of the Bible (Genesis in particular.)   • Are there any good ideas/layouts/websites for using vellum on scrapbook pages?

    Hi, I've never used vellum on my scrapbook pages but I've just bought some really nice sheets in the CM Vellum and Verses pack. I have a few ideas on how I'm going to use them, but as I've never used it before, I'm hoping someone out there who has more experience can give me some good ideas and advice.   • How can I tie/knot a sarong to act as a baby sling for a 3 month old?

    I've heard there is a way to tie a sarong so that you can carry a baby around but I'm not quite sure which way to do it. Pictures would be good, but any instructions would be helpful.
