I work for a major supermarket in the uk.

My team leaders are on a 39 hour week contract. but regulary work 50 hours or more but dont get paid for the extra hours they do.

I am also on a 39 hour contract as a regular employee but I do get paid any overtime that I do.

I appreciate that a few of these team leaders and I mean a few will progress to a manager but we are talking a very few.

My question is, is it legal to not get paid for extra extra hours you have to do.

The door of my wd440 will not lock and consequently does not work. It has happened all of a sudden but because the light doesnt come on when the door is shut and the door does not lock nothing is working.

About a month ago had problems with the machine not spinning properly and clothes coming out wet but adjusted the vaccumn control (dont know the proper title for it, but the thing under the lid behind the soap drawer) which got it working.

If relevant the last thing to be washed was 2 hairy dirty dog beds

Ran out of oil so refilled the tank but now the lockout light keeps coming back on after less than a minute.Have tried several times pushing the lockout button but still no joy.

it started today and on the on button the lights are flashing red

I currently use google maps which allow me to plan upto 25 destinations but I need to stop at upto 80 postcodes a day and frequently am crossing over myself during the course of a day which is annoying if nothing else

I have 4 boxers 2 males and 2 females, my eldest ***** has just come on heat and one of my males is still trying to mate with her.

Im worried that he wasn't neutered completely, is this possible?

or is he just doing it because he can smell that shes in heat?

Why do people call an after funeral ceremony a "wake"?

Last night I was cooking scrap vegatables in saucepan for chickens and forgot about it when I got to it it smelt awful and the inside of pan has gone black and is very difficult to remove any suggestions as they are quite expensive saucepans

I have recently put one of my dogs ( a male castrated boxer) onto the B.A.R.F diet, as he has always had a problem with dried food.

He used to projectile vomit, and was not putting weight on.

He has been on the barf diet for about 2 months now and i am still seeing no increase in weight or bulk ( although the vet says hes a little underweight my 3 others including his sister are perfect)

I got my B.A.R.F diet details off my sister in-law as she swears by it and has fed her 4 Rhodesian ridge backs on it since young, She is a judge via kennel club and i know she knows whats shes talking about.

His diet consists of :

Either 2lbs of chicken wings, liver or heart, a day ( spread over 2 meals)

vegetable ground up to the consistency of how it would be found in the preys stomach ( 8oz of)

A brewers yeast tablet once a day.

And carbohydrates a couple of times a week which could be pasta to baked beans.

What i was wondering is if anyone feeds the B.A.R.F diet and how they get on with it and do they feed differently and how much? and what?

And where do they get there fat intake from? And should carbs be fed daily?

Should i up the amount i am feeding.

He weighs about 28kg.

Any help or advice would be brilliant.

And i would be grateful to hear from any other B.A.R.F feeders and there routines, meal guides etc.

I have 4 boxer dogs and one of my youngest suffers from projectile vomiting, he already has AD HD, and is a total nut case..

The vet said the best thing to do is to feed him on his own and not let him out for a considerable amount of time after feeding to prevent him running around like a nutter and bringing his food up for this reason..

The vet said it could possibly the thickening of the esophageal wall which prevents the food from going down into his stomach normally and they do laser surgery to cure this, but she thought that it isn't really that necessary..

I am concerned he isn't putting on enough weight, or getting enough vitamins etc for good growth and health. he is being fed on high quality food, royal canin boxer 26, so i presume it isn't down to an allergy.

If anyone else has experienced this would be interesting to know and hear your opinions/experiences.
