I have a friend who is trying to become a professional photographer. She has an associates in graphic design and takes really beautiful pictures but her website is just awful because of her lack of professionalism. She occasionally uses "text speak," and includes really unnecessary information that makes her sound like a 14 year old. It isn't quite as bad when you meet her in person. How do I clue her into this problem without hurting her feelings?

I washed a load of laundry and accidentally left a tube of Burt's bees chapstick in my pants pocket. It melted and is now in blotches all over my clothes...help!

I am getting the windows in my home replaced. The total price for the "super spacer" windows is almost $2000 more than for standard energy efficient windows (both qualify for the energy tax credit). Is it worth the extra money?

My home is pretty small, 1.5 stories single family home. I am having 17 windows replaced, 16 are standard double-hung windows, 1 is a basement slider.

My boyfriend is really sweet, he's gotten me flowers and candy twice and we haven't even been dating a month! I am trying to come up with nice things to surprise him with and did buy him some of his favorite spice from Belize since he likes to cook. Can I buy him flowers? Do guys like that kind of thing? If so, what kind of flowers are best?

I have a 1999 Pontiac Sunfire, 4-door, about 90,000 miles. It's been getting an average of 24.6 mpg (based on the last two times I filled up). I think I do a lot more freeway than city driving, so I fell like it should be doing better than that. I'm not due for an oil change any time soon, the spark plugs are only about a year old, all my filters have been checked and the fuel pressure regulator was changed recently. I always drive the speed limit and I go easy on the acceleration. Shouldn't I be getting better mileage?

I'm getting a new phone, and I'm thinking of getting the Samsung Juke because I can get it free from Verison and I would love one that plays MP3s. I'm just wondering if Version charges you for playing MP3s or anything like that, and if anyone who has that phone has anything to say about it, good or bad.

I know nothing about cars. If a car is a (something) 3x what does that mean?

I'm thinking of buying the HoMedics daily spa complete facial care system. It includes a facial sauna/steamer, microderm abrasion, some kind of suction, massage rollers...will this help with acne at all? I don't really need help with wrinkles or age spots- i'm only 21. Just blackheads and acne. I have very oily skin. If this isn't going to help can anyone suggest better options?

It just quit working...I didn't install anything or even restart my computer, and it quit working. In the mouse properties all of the options for reinstalling, rolling back, or doing anything else with the driver are "grayed out" (I can't click on any of them). I tried reinstalling the driver off of the disk and that didn't work either. I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop, Windows Vista, and it's a Synaptics device. Help please!

I'm trying to play an AVI file in Windows Media Player 11. It prompted me to download a DivX codec for the video, but now it's playing the video with no audio. Help!

Specifically I want to be able to download just one file from a .torrent that contains many files, and I would like to not have to wait 2 weeks for that file.

Am I just over-stressed? My periods have been backwards...really light at the beginning and then heavier for like a day towards the end but overall much lighter than normal, I'm constantly tired but I don't sleep well, my face is just exploding with acne (I'm 20 and it's never been a problem before) and I've been getting more headaches than usual. Has anyone else ever had this combination of symptoms? What was it?

I am wondering if there is any way I could sell my laptop and buy a PDA instead. The one thing that PDA's seem to be missing is any sort of CD drive. Can you get external CD drives (maybe with bluetooth) that will work with a PDA? I want to get a PDA and NOT NEED to ever hook it up to a computer. Is that possible?

Then I get an error message that says "Could not start the IMAPI CD-burning COM service on Local Computer" Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.

So I did a search and the file IMAPI.EXE is not on the computer anywhere.

I have a compaq presario 2100 notebook. I let the computer to a friend and she lost all the disks---I don't have the XP disk or any of the recovery disks. I've tried restoring the computer to earlier points but it doesn't help. I can't log on except in safe mode with networking (regular safe mode doesn't work). I think it's from a virus, but I've run every anti-virus/spyware/adware program I can find and they can't get rid of it because it's imbedded into the "winlogon" program. I need a step-by-step to recover the computer without the disks.

A friend of mine went to the doctor for a cough. She takes both birth control and Zoloft, and when the doctor heard that he asked "So, do you have trouble having an orgasm?" No leading questions, just bluntly asked. She's not even sexually active. Then when he went to listen to her lungs he pulled her shirt up. Most doctors just reach the stethescope under your shirt, but he pulled it up without any warning or asking her permission. She called me because I'm a nursing major and she thought I'd know if this was normal or not, but I'm not sure. The bottom line is she felt uncomfortable and that means the doctor did something wrong. But did he really violate any of her rights?
