My daughter, grandson and I are taking a 3 day cruise in June. We have to fly to Miami to get the ship. My friend who lives in Orlando would like to join us and would drive to Miami to meet us there. She then offers to drive us back to Orlando and stay with her so that we could spend 3 days visiting Disney. She can get us free day passes into the attractions because her father works there. In return she is asking if I will pay her share of the cruise.She will not have to pay anything. Do you think it fair that we pay all expenses and she pay nothing? We wouldn't have to pay accomodations in Orlando or to the theme park, just flights, cruise and food in Orlando.

My daughter believes that CBRD is what her 3 year old should have for supper in the evenings. He doesn't want it and asks for bread and cheese. I agree with him and don't feel that he should be forced to eat something that he doesn't want. My daughter feels that he should eat what she prepares, but at 3 should he not be able to voice his wants? He'll eat 2 slices of bread and at least an ounce of cheese. Surely that's enough for a little tummy for his supper? Thanks in advance for your opinion. (P.S. I'm the Nana)

One side has a grid like pattern with 731 in the bottom middle section and a 2 in the top middle section. It looks like it could have been circular at one time. There is a wavy line at the bottom. The other side looks like a cross through the whole coin. A friend looked for coins on the internet and thinks it may be from the wreck of the Princess Louisa off the Cape Verde islands but they are miles away from where I live. My friend thinks it may be made of silver and that it is a 1731 2 reale spanish coin. I don't think that there is anywhere on the island to take it for a valuation and wondered if anyone has any idea what this might be and if it has any value. Some of the original settlers on my island are reputed to have been pirates.

I have just been called as the Librarian and I am really looking forward to this task.

I have some organisational skills but no idea where to start. It is really small scale and includes Church teaching manuals and pamphlets, possibly a few hundred or so. I'd like to expand eventually to include fiction and ask members to donate from their private collections on a semi permanent loan basis. But first things first. How do I get organized? How will I catalogue those materials that I have already. If there are items that are several years old should I keep them? any assistance gratefully recieved especially from anyone involved in a Church library, especially from LDS. I shall have an assisatnt who works with an IT department so perhaps he could take on the task of keeping the records. I've thought that perhaps I shall do the initial graft and get everything sorted out first.Thanks.

hes 1 and a half and bites when he doesnt get his way at daycare. my daughter doesnt know what she can do to help him stop this habit as shes not there during the day. he doesnt normally bite while hes at home when he gets frustrated, just throws a huge tantrum... any suggestions?

My daughter isn't too worried about her son's lack of interest/appetite and he is growing well. He's 23 lbs. Apart from the chicken pox 3 weeks ago which has left a lingering RSV, he is doing fine health wise. He just loves his bottle which is a soy mix. He is on multivits. He sleeps fairly well, although not completely through the night yet. There is a no cereal in the bottle rule here. Any ideas on encouraging this delightful little tyke to eat real food?

my daughters 9 month old son fight sleep like crazy and usually wont go to bed for a full 5 hours until after 10:30pm. we've tried to give him homeopathic drops to calm him down but nothing seems to work. shes trying to steer clear of giving him actifed which is what her aunt used to use on her kids, but this is getting ridiculous now.. any suggestions?
