  • Does anyone know the name of this movie?

It is a lesbian film set at a hospital at the end of one woman's life, and her partner is down the hall in the nursing care wing, and the family is refusing to let her visit, until a young woman comes to the room and gets her to divulge her story. Through a series of flashbacks she tells the story of how she and her partner met, and their romance, ect. The one telling the story was a wild rover who would come and go, and the one who was dying got married and had kids. It turns out that the young woman is her granddaughter and she helps the two be reunited one final time. I remember that the one who was not dying had an interesting name.

Does anyone know what I am talking about, the internet doesn't seem to? :P

  • Has anyone ever just wanted to drop their life and move to another country?

I have now been on a trip to Ireland, and then a second trip to N. Ireland, England, Scotland, and Wales. From the very first second I set foot in Ireland I felt like I had come home, and when I went back to the UK I was terribly aware of how close to Ireland I was. It has now been about two months since I came home and I am in my freshman year in college, which is where I have wanted to be (in this college) since middle school, but now, it is not what I want at all. I miss the euphoric yet peaceful feeling I felt there, and I desperately want to just take off and go back. I do not know if I should live out my old dream of being in college here because I was able to accomplish it and I should just be grateful and shut up, or if I should actively pursue my new dream. Has anyone ever just dropped a life and moved like that? Did it work out?

  • Those Konoki Foot Pads?

Okay, so I was at Target the other day, and I came on these. I had seen the commercial and didn't believe that it was a "magical Cure-All" but they had peaked my interest. I have used them for two nights now, and I do not have much to report, but I was getting a little curious of what others had to say about them, so I did a google search and, I get it, the overwhelming consensus is that they are a scam. But, bottom line here, I am not using them in the hopes that they are are going to cure me of the Black Death or anything, so is there any harm in just taking the chance on them that they could make you feel 10% better in life, or does anyone now of any really bad side effects that I should take into consideration?

  • Are you going to Scarborough Fair?

While you are there, could you find out the meaning of 'Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme' for me? Oh, and remember me to one who lives there, for he was once a true love of mine.

  • Bon Jovi's Tommy and Gina?

Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" is about a young couple Tommy and Gina. Then in "It's My Life," he refrences them "for Tommy and Gina who never backed down." Does anyone know if they are just representations of young working class or if they are real people?

  • Plz HELP!!!?

I have one minion with intense behavior problems. He is prone to mood swings, and at other times is completely indifferent to all emotions or compassion. He can often be found alone, brooding in corners, or else attempting to make friends with the most unlikely of people. He is severely socially illiterate, for he often has no idea when to join a conversation or when to close his mouth. He also is attempting to slowly starve himself to death while disguising this as "eating healthy." Children are scared of him, and as children are always a good judge of character, I believe this says something about him. I cannot decide what form of punishment would be most affective. It surely cannot be lethal, for that is what he wants, and I refuse to give that to him. What would be an appropriate punishment for him?
