So, my wonderful husband passed away over 10 years ago. I've been seeing another wonderful man for over 2 years and we plan to get married. I haven't found another ring I like as much as my old one, and it seems wasteful to have it sit around in a jewelry box when I really love it. Would it be weird to have it reset from it's yellow gold setting to a white gold setting (I wear more silver jewelry now than I did back then), then it would be my "something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue" all in one. My new man is ok with the idea. I've heard of people "recycling" old familyheirlooms, but not from their first marriages. Would this be a great way to start my "new life" while respecting and recognizing my "old life"? Or would it be tacky?

I'm a 52 year old woman, and I take a multi-vitamin and 600mg. of Calcium per day, and since I began doing this, I've noticed that I am more constipated than I've ever been in my life. Is this just a normal thing that happens as we get older, or is it related to the calcium supplements?

Getting to that time of year when this sounds really good, but is there a name for it?

I bought one the other day, and the skin on it is so hard my sharpest knife won't go through it!

Is there a trick to soften it up just a bit so I can cut it? It has been stored on the counter, not in

the refrigerator, so it's room-temperature.

I got a smartphone last week and I'm very non-technical. It's got a USB cord with it. Is there a way

to copy music from iTunes into this phone?

I've been having issues with it lately, it opens fine, but then when I try to close it, it usually closes about a foot, then goes back up. sometimes if I hold the button down the whole time it will close properly, sometimes it will still

refuse to do it. The electronic sensors on it, one has a green light, the other one has gone to yellow, and I adjusted it every which way I could and I can't get it to go green. I've dusted off the lenses and checked the wires to be sure they haven't been gnawed on by something. Don't want to call the garage door company if he just tweaks the sensor for 2 seconds and it's fixed. Any ideas?

Going to a tournament with my tennis team next weekend in Mobile, and we have 2 days with early match times, then the rest of the day free, so we are thinking we need to reach the beach since we're from KY and we don't have any! And how far to the nearest outlet mall too, for the same reason.

My physical therapist wants me to use one for some exercises, and I bought one but it's about 4 feet long and I'd like to cut it in half. It doesn't have to be a perfectly straight cut. Should I use a razor-blade cutter, scissors, a sharp kitchen knife, what? (And I don't have an electric carving knife like you'd use on a turkey.)

I need to buy a big-ticket item at Best Buy soon, and was going to go buy gift cards at Kroger to do it

so I get my credit-card airline points, plus Kroger fuel points. They sometimes do 4x fuel points.

Is there a regular schedule of when they do it,(like the 1st week of the month or something) or is it totally a random thing?

The woman that bought Susan's house, Jennifer, had some sort of box that she hid in the garage,

and Mary Alice's voice was talking about secrets, etc. Are we supposed to know who she is, or

was that just some random loose end? And did you think it was sad that as Susan was driving

away and they were showing all those people who had passed away on the lane that Edie Britt wasn't one of them? I know, all the legal drama between Nicolette Sheridan and Marc Cherry, but

still, it would have been nice if they'd worked it out and put her in the finale for a second or two....

It's at the stage where fluid keeps coming out of it, I've put poison ivy itch stuff on it but it stays wet and sticky, and it keeps running down my arm. And it's sticking to my bedsheets, etc. What will make it stop being all oozing and sticky?

Or is that just written into his character?

I seem to be really allergic to it, found a spot on my arm that looks like it's flaring up after working in my yard yesterday, even after I came in and showered immediately after I was done in the yard. Is there anything I can take or put on it to kind of keep it from getting all over me?

I've recently heard that putting some on and then putting socks on at bedtime kills the nail and then

it grows back in. If you've tried it, did it work? How long did it take? And does it have to be on bare nails? I keep mine polished to cover up the discoloration. Now I think I'll have to wait through another summer sandal season and try it next fall.

I have a handful of pistachios from the bag I bought, that aren't cracked enough to split open.

I'm wondering if there's a trick to get them to open up more, without smashing them with a

hammer or using my teeth?

I have one that only lasted 2 years! So much for long-life, right? Anyway, I know they have mercury

in them and you aren't supposed to just throw them away. How do I recycle it?

I plugged in my hair dryer and it made a "pop" sound, and a spark. So I unplugged it and used

a different hair dryer in a different bathroom. (It had tripped the breaker, so I reset it.) Now I'm

not sure whether it's safe to use the hair dryer or the outlet again? I"m not sure where the "pop" sound came from, but the spark came from the hair dryer.

I know Heather is Paul's daughter by April Stevens,and now Ricky is back in town too, but I've forgotten who Ricky's mother is.

Have they given the reason yet that he was in jail? He and Victor are acting like it was some horrible

awful thing he did, but maybe I missed the explanation? Or have they not revealed the reason yet?
