  • First bike... Best cruiser?

    So here's the deal...

I'm looking for a cruiser in the range of about 5-600cc and I'm interested in opinions in the 3 I've narrowed it down to, as well as other ideas. I must also mention I'm a towering giant and five foot five, so the ergonmics for the er... more vertically challenged are important.

The 3 I'm considering at this point are Honda Shadow VLX 600, Yamaha VStar 650, and Kawasaki Vulcan 500.

  • Is n-i-p a bad word?

If I type n-i-p into a post it comes out nip. As far as I know it means to bite at or pinch, or in the case of winter, to sting like cold. Are yahoo editors being overly politically correct or just not very bright?

  • Which Country is most 'Successful'?

    Before answering read this:

I am not talking about bottom end riches, military power, or technological advancment.

I would like to discover which country has been most successful in curbing hunger, poverty, and unemployment among its citizens and would be said to generally have a relatively content and balanced populace.

  • Does the Religion of Atheism exist?

Let's look at religion here. It is an entire belief system founded upon a pile of ideas and theories, and no solid evidence to prove it.

Religion was all until mankind made several discoveries that linked toward what was dubbed the theory of evolution. With solid, tangible support, how can it be challanged by an idolized fantasy novel?

Yet there's a reason why scientists call it a theory, and why many of them are spiritual. They have uncovered nothing that can disprove the existence of a god or gods or some form of higher power. All science has at this point is theories, and Atheists take to heart these theories.

Some of them roam the internet looking to pick apart the religious and prove themselves right, thereby succeeding in turning Atheism into a religion. Ironic.

    Do you agree?

  • Old fashioned game for the Xbox?

Does anyone out there remember games when there was no plot, and no real ending? You just got through as many levels as you could, or as many points as you could (or both) and it got harder and faster as you went. The last time I played a game like this was on PS1, a game called Nitrous Oxide. Is anything like this made for Xbox?? (regular xbox, not 360)
