Do you have any positive stories to relate about Chinese motorcycles?
Chinese bikes and scooters now outsell Japanese in the UK. It is said that the 2nd wave of Chinese motorcycles are reliable and cost affective. Any stories?

3 AnswersMotorcycles9 years agoDoes anyone out there have any knowledge of umbilical hernias?
I have one and went to see my doctor who said that nothing needed to be done about it. I want to know if I can still exercise at the gym, he said it's okay but I don't trust this bloke! Would anyone know?
3 AnswersOther - Diseases9 years agoI would like to ask some UK readers what they think of electric motorcycles and scooters?
I'm a Englishman working as a motorcycle journalist in China and have noticed that the British government is encouraging the use of e-vehicles. What do you think of this? Also, what kind of specifications should an e-vehicle have? Thanks for your time.

2 AnswersMotorcycles1 decade agoHow is it possible to think of a god as 'self-creating' or 'uncaused'?
What i mean is that all of the schemas that we can think have a basis in empirical sense-perception. To describe something (anything) as self-creating or uncaused is quite a unique thing as there is nothing in nature (or laws of physics) that answers to this description. How then are we able to label a diety (or anything) in this way?
6 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoCan you please help me in my search for non-empirical ideas (schemas)?
I've given a lot of thought to this subject and have concluded that pretty much every schema my mind constructs is of an empirical nature (either an object given to me by sense perception or an amalgam of obejects). The only non-empirical schema I can think of currently is that of the 'uncaused cause.' This schema cannot possibly have its roots in sense perception (even as an amalgam) as an un-caused cause is not apparent in nature (at least the physical realm). can you please help me to find some more non-empirical schemas (if there are any)?
5 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoCan you please name some religions for me that do not hold a belief in God...?
...as an un-caused cause or self-creating...cheers
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy has there not been an attempt at a proof of God's existence for so long?
It seems that there hasn't been a famous proof since Kant, can anyone refute this or explain why? Cheers!
16 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoIn quantum mechanics has anything been observed that was not created or self-creating?
By this I mean a cause of itself (an uncaused particle)
2 AnswersPhysics1 decade agoIs the concept of a 'causeless cause' a non-empirical concept?
It seems to me that it would have to be seeing as we cannot percieve anything 'uncaused' with our sense receptors. Furthermore I would posit that this schema is the ONLY non-empirical concept we can cognise. What do you think?
5 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoAre there any common themes/attributes shared by the God(s) of all religions?
Are there any that you know of?
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat things do you classify as truly non-empirical?
If we look closely at the schemas we cognise it's pretty much revealed that most all of them are an amalgam of empirical sense-data. UFOs, Golden Mountains, Unicorns etc are examples of this. A colleage of mine suggests that existentialism is non-empirical, but in which way is it?
Can you give me any examples of non-empirical ideas, as to me everything seems to have its genesis in sense-data
5 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoCan I ask you a question about infinity and measurability please?
I have always maintained that for something to be labelled 'infinite' it must suggest that that 'something' must at first have been in principle 'measurable' as it would be impossible to classifly something as infinite without first trying to measure it. What do you think
11 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoI will buy anyone on this site a nice pint if...?
...you can explain (in very simple terms) the Schrodinger's cat experiment. I am a bit of a thicky and have been trying to get my head around it to no avail.
