Last night I went to the ER for the flu. Towards the end of the visit after they gathered my blood & urine, the nurse brought a paper for me to sign, and said quietly, "Do you know you're pregnant?"

I was flabbergasted because that must mean I'm 5 months along. Without knowing.

The doctor never came back out to explain my blood or urine results, and only wrote me a prescription for some medicine for a uti.

Should he have announced everything that was going on, or are the nurses left with that job?

I would like to attend this makeup artistry school, and the tuition is not very much, but not something I would have laying around... I was advised to go to Sallie Mae for a loan, and I was denied and it was suggested to try again with a cosigner.

I can't obtain a cosigner because one of my parents filed bankruptcy, and the other is unemployed.

I work @ 12.37 an hour, and I already have a car loan under my name (which I took out by myself at 18), but apparently that's not good enough for Sallie Mae.

So now I'm wondering if it's even worth tarnishing my "baby credit" with inquiries for a personal loan... for school. :(

At my work place, in the employee break room we have a refrigerator that stores our food. Adjacent to the people food, is what I call "the dead head" freezer. In this refrigerator there is rabies specimens that may or may not be positive for rabies.

Can my organization legally do this? I find it repulsive, but at this point in time, the big bosses care more for money than the welfare for their employees, thus I really haven't spoke up...kind of like "why bother?" -__-

I got braces and a retainer on Friday, and after looking at pictures of retainer's online, I believe my retainer has been made wrong. For instance, http://www.allanandmulgreworthodontics.com/images/...

The retainer in this picture has the area around the teeth cut out, but my retainer is not cut out like that, and there is actually plastic in this area, so when I close my mouth I'm biting my retainer.

Is this supposed to be like this? I don't want to go back to my dentist and pay a crap load of money just to be told that's the way it's supposed to be.

I really like this dress from Bebe, but I can't decide if it is the right type of dress to wear to prom. I tried it on before when Bebe carried it in their store, and I really liked how it fit my body (even when the dress was smaller than my real size), it is very loose around my waste, so I won't have to wear a girdle (ick.) So, opinions?

I checked on USPS the same day, and its status says foreign acceptance.

It has been a week and nothing STILL has changed. I called USPS, and the service agent says my package is still in China.

Shouldn't my package be in USPS hands by now? The package is supposed to be express mail, there is nothing speedy about this delivery, and the delivery estimate of up to 15 days is almost here.

What the "...." is going on??

Well, I had a very weird dream last night about this guy that I really don't give a hoot about. This guy and I were friends, but towards the end of the school year he started to be really mean towards me, and basically he called me fat, I need to wear larger clothes, how he was going to get whoever to beat me up, and so on.

Now, more than a year later, I had this dream, and it started off with me in his home, and I felt what I should have been feeling towards him, dislike, and then all of a sudden, I wanted him. Then it was like his family wanted us to be together, and I was telling them that he doesn't like me very much. Then he & his mom took me home. This isnt the first dream I had about him, just the first one where I almost admitted to myself in the dream that I like him.

Can anyone relate/give me insight to what this means?

My iPod is really weird. When I hook it up to my pc to charge, it says "please wait. very low battery." with like a whirly icon, and it stays like that FOREVER, it doesnt charge at all. Soo I tried to charge it using the wall charger, because I assumed maybe it was the pc, but when I hooked it up using the wall charger, it says that the iPod is corrupt and needs to be restored using iTunes.

how can I restore it if IT NEVER goes off the

does anyone know what the japanese phrase dashita and natte mean? i think natte is a word but dashita is ending thingy kinda like desu...help!
