  • 96 Sable intermittent starting problems?

Has new spark plugs/ wires, coil pack, voltage regular, battery, EGR Sensor (DPFE), replaced a few of the vacuum lines, which all are holding a good vacuum. I'm still getting an EGR code but that's been a problem for awhile and never had a problem with starting, no other codes.

At first it happened when the weather got colder and it was sitting outside it took several tries to get it to start, it would crank but not start. I did a fuel pressure test and those readings are in the normal range.

It did it again last night, the car was inside my garage, took several tries but it finally started.

It only seems to happen with the engine is sitting for awhile, no problems when it's warm, but not all the time.

    Any suggestions. I'm getting frustrated.

  • Faucet Replacement/ 6 in. Widespread?

I need to replace my bathroom faucet. It's a 6 inch widespread. I'm finding inconsistent answers if a 8 inch widespread faucet will work. Some say yes and some say no. I don't have a lot of money to shell out. I found a few on ebay but they don't clarify if it will work for my sink.

What am I looking for to find out if an 8 inch widespread will work?

    Thanks

  • Overgrown Nails?

I adopted a rescued 18 month Redbone Coonhound in May. The previous owner or lack of owner never cut his nails. I have been working with my vet in trying to get them back to a normal lengh, they are better but still overly grown. I've done all the things you can do to train them back, regular cutting, filing and daily walks on the sidewalk.

She suggested since I'm getting his teeth cleaned and he will be under general anthesia they can go a head and cut them back to the correct length. She gave me the normal recovery time and so forth, I know it's better than him having to deal with the overgrown nails. It just sounded so painful.

Has anyone had to have this done to their dog, was your dog pretty much back to normal after the effects being under?

  • Breastfeeding Mommies, have you heard this?

according to the Pediatrics Journal breastfed babies are at risk for having a vitiman D deficiency. If further says breastfed babies should be given a Vitiman supplement within the first 2 months of life.

    Has anyone else heard this?

My son is now 4 years old but I never heard this while he was breastfed.

  • Broke bolt won't budge?

Changing the thermostat and a siezed bolt broke. Tried an EZ out and pb blaster. Tried a left hand drill bit. None of these worked.

I know applying a torch will sometimes work, but all I have is a propane one and I don't think that will get it hot enough.

Any other ideas or tricks or is my last resort getting a Heli coil?

  • My four year old is getting his 6 year old Molars. isn't this too early?

Have any of you experienced this? They are half way thru and we are trying to brush them well, but it just seems too early for them to come thru yet.

He's had all 20 teeth by the age of 15 month, so I know it's not a baby molar

He has his regular check up appt in a month of course I'll talk to the dentist about it

  • Selling a Playstation and used games?

I have a playstation,10-15 games and a couple of memory cards that I have no use for. What is the best way to sell them. We have a Gamestop in our area that will buy it. Or do you think I would get more money selling them on ebay / listing it in our local paper?

  • refrigerator repair?

My refridg. is covered under my home warranty. It's not cooling properly and I called service. I've always done basic cleaning on the coils but they are very picky and try to get out of paying by saying it wasn't properly maintained. What else do I need to do besides vacuuming the coils and around the condenser fan to show it's been maintained on a regular basis?
