A best answer is considered a violation?
Question: which famousless country in the world?
Deleted Answer: What is your question?
Violation Reason:Not a Question or Answer
So, the "question" was "which famousless country in the world?", which isn't actually a question. It is an imcomplete sentence, so in my answer I asked "What is your question?". (Perhaps the asker was attempting to ask "Which is the least famous country in the world, but I am not sure".)
Anyway, my violation reason was "Not a Question or Answer", but it was a question, so I don't know what gives.
3 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoWhy are Google Maps aerials of such poor quality?
Google seems to get all of the acclaim over their maps, but in reality their aerials are very poor for much of the United States. For example, not a square mile of Ottawa County, Michigan, despite being the 243rd largest county out of 3,141 US counties, can be viewed in high res.
Lubbers Stadium, Allendale, Michigan, Google Maps:

That is as good as it gets for Ottawa County, Michigan!

6 AnswersGoogle1 decade agoWhy is Allah punishing his own followers?
Following Hurrican Katrina, some Muslims claimed that Allah sent Katrina as punishment to the United States (however, Katrina isn't even close the worst disasters since 2000). So, by their logic, Allah must be vengeful towards Muslims, given the following:
Top Ten Worst Disasters, since 2000:
1 Earthquake/tsunami, Southeast Asia, 2004 - 230,000 dead, 1,126,900 homeless, MOSTLY MUSLIMS
2 Earthquake, Kashmir, 2005 - 87,400 dead, 4,000,000 homeless, MOSTLY MUSLIMS
3 Earthquake, Bam, Iran, 2003 - 26,300 dead, 80,000 homeless, MOSTLY MUSLIMS
4 Earthquake, Bhuj, India, 2001 - 20,000 dead, 600,000 homeless
5 Famine, Niger, 2005 - 10,000 dead, MOSTLY MUSLIMS
6 Earthquake, Java, 2006 - 5,800 dead, 600,000 homeless, MOSTLY MUSLIMS
7 Earthquake, northeast Afghanistan, 2002 - 2,500 dead, 30,000 homeless, MOSTLY MUSLIMS
8 Rains, Haiti and Dominican Republic, 2,400 dead
9 Earthquake, northern Algeria, 2003 - 2,300 dead, MOSTLY MUSLIMS
10 Mudslides, Philippines, 2006 - 1,800 dead
WHY?!?
23 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 decades agoShould we enact immigration laws similar to Mexico's?
Examples:
Mexico welcomes only foreigners who will be useful to Mexican society:
• Foreigners are admitted into Mexico “according to their possibilities of
contributing to national progress.” (Article 32)
• Immigration officials must “ensure” that “immigrants will be useful elements for
the country and that they have the necessary funds for their sustenance” and for
their dependents. (Article 34)
• Foreigners may be barred from the country if their presence upsets “the
equilibrium of the national demographics,” when foreigners are deemed
detrimental to “economic or national interests,” when they do not behave like
good citizens in their own country, when they have broken Mexican laws, and
when “they are not found to be physically or mentally healthy.” (Article 37)
• The Secretary of Governance may “suspend or prohibit the admission of
foreigners when he determines it to be in the national interest.” (Article 38)
