I had 2 different scenarios happen to 2 different players in a round of Golf yesterday .since it was a friendly game and it was a busy day we both probably got away with favorable drops but was curious if it was tournament play what the right drops would have been.

1. Par 3 ball goes over body of water hits the bank of the green rolls into the water and is un playable (no drop area that was marked )remember the ball rolled BACK into the water so the point of entry was on the same side of the green.

2. player is hitting out of a sand trap attempting to go on the green ball flys over the green into a water hazard that is on the other side of the green again point of entry on the favorable side of the green .

I have an air conditioner in my wall and the birds have made a nest between the wall and the air conditioner .Is there something I can put down that will make them leave or is it time for a helmet and a broom?

i was changing my strings and thought they were somewhat difficult to wind when I got to the high E it was extremely difficult to move .I play and tune my guitar often but didn't notice until I went to change the strings and needed to wind > The guitar is a Fender telecaster deluxe with p90 pick ups its not a cheap guitar and its about 5 years old .Please share your knowledge with me

I'm getting ready to buy a new guitar (electric)on a modest budget between $300-$600.I'd love to hear a quick review of your guitar good or bad .I like to play almost all genres and I'm leaning towards a guitar with medium frets .I dont have huge hands and I like a guitar thats easy to move around on. Just got the studio Beats by Dre .It almost seems like a radio more than headphones is this normal ?did I get a bad set ? All the other headphones I own conceal the sound.

Only real requirement is that I can record on it with Garageband .I was looking at Yamaha 450DTX .But would like to hear good and bad experiences you have had with any brand.thanks

Hi all and happy holidays ---I'm trying to think of the name of a song I first heard it at the end of a Movie that Danny Devito starred in (It wasn't one of hie more famous roles but an excellent movie nevertheless)

Unfortunatly I can't even remember the name of the movie .But the song was basically just words teaching life lessons one of the phrases that sticks out is "live in New York but move before you turn to cold....Live in California but move before you turn to soft" I thought it kind of sounded like murray Head but I searched all his songs and couldn't find it.Hope you can help thanks!

I'm not sure how long I'm going to keep this up here .I recently experienced the above and as much as it has helped to talk to a professional ,Friends and family I wonder has anyone out their been through this?maybe it might help to talk to someone who truly knows how I feel.I don't know but I do know this sucks.I can act OK for a while but something in the pit of my stomach tells me I may never be the same.

I have just started a golf league . We are keeping our handicap through an online website that is in conjunction with the USGA. My question is when a member plays a round outside the league should that count toward his/her handicap in the league?

Myself and a friend have decided to start and run a golf league .For now its 8 guys all of us are friends .We havn't even started playing yet and are running into disagreements.Some guys want to play no more than double the par on a hole some guys want to play actual score some guys want to be able to play a playable ball that is out of bounds some guys not.Has anyone out run a league and run in to these problems? can I expect more ?would like to hear any and all pro's and cons based on experience of running or playing in a league.I would like to just use USGA rules and thats that but I also want to make it enjoyable for everybody.Look forward to hearing from everyone.
