I think it is time for the US Congress to approve a bailout for the middle class! $1,000,000 for each working tax paying US citizen... This is far less than the billion dollar bailout congress approved for Wall Street. The bailout money could be used to pay off our homes, cars, debts as well as provided money to pay for people to go back to school, take a family vacation, invest and generally improve our lives.

I would like to hear mostly from Christians but anyone is welcome to answer... I was raised Roman Catholic. I was very devout for many years but began to drift away about five years ago and found that 'The Craft of the Wise' is more along the lines of my belief system. When I was a seventh grader in a Catholic school I was told about the evils of witchcraft and to stay away from it! In my high school years, I picked up a book about witchcraft and realized that everything I had been told was untrue. Obviously, the teachers who told us to stay away did not know what they were talking about... I find that witchcraft really embraces my spiritualism and strengthens my connection with mother earth. At night when I look up into the southeastern sky I have seen a very bright celestial body over the past couple of months. This is between about 11:00 PM and 1:00 AM (MST) mountain time. If you look at Orion it is to the left (my left) in line with the belt of Orion. Does anyone know what celestial body this is? I recognize Mars and Venus but this one has me stumped...

I looked at the local book store in the children's section. They did not have any but directed my to the 'New Age' section. I can look through what they offer but I am hoping to get some recommendations as well.

The Minnesota Twins offered outfielder Torri Hunter a three year contract worth $45 million. Hunter has been a solid player for the Twins for nine years. Why won't the Twins offer him the five year contract that he desires? Any ideas or inside knowledge on this subject?

California education, environmental standards, health care and laws are generally different from the rest of the USA. Furthermore, for every dollar that California citizens pay in taxes they only get $.08 in return. I think it makes more sense for California to seek autonomy and succeed from the rest of the USA. In the Americas there are the Anishinabe, native inhabitants or more often and incorrectly referred to as American Indian’s. These people and their culture are endangered. Many of them live in poverty and are on the brink of extinction. Are there similar groups of people living in parts of Europe? If so, please name them? I can think of a few such as the Basque, the Celts and the Lapps... Where they are generally located? What do they call themselves? What is their situation?

Two weeks ago I had an intense dream that I recalled when I awoke. The dream was about an ex-girlfriend that I have not seen or thought about in over ten years. The message in the dream was that I should contact her. I contacted her and she asked me in a very direct but inquisitive sort of way what made me think of her. I told her about my dream and she said she had a similar dream about me! I think that dreams, if we can remember them, can tell us a great deal about our past, present and future. This was not a 'wet dream' or hallucinations brought on by illicit drugs or alcohol. I want to know what other people think about my experience, what does it mean and what do you think I should do about it?

My son, who is eight, has been invited to attend the birthday party of his friend who is turning eight. He is not sure what she would like as a gift so I would like some suggestions of what to get for her...

The Big 10 Conference has 11 schools represented. Should they add a 12th? If so, is North Dakota State (NDSU) a good choice? If not, who would make a better choice? Maybe a MAC school? Maybe a Big East school? Maybe Iowa State or Missouri moves over from the Big 12? What are your thoughts?
