i can get an untapped 1/6 keg of harpoon IPA for $50, normally around $150, high dollar stuff and tasty when fresh. Its been refrigerated at 38 degress but its pushing 50 days old and once I tap it it will take me 30 days to consume. Since IPA was crafted to last a long time i figure I should go for it. Thoughts?

There are videos on some company ads and I want to download one to a disk for personal use.

My employer reimburses me for the full amount for travel, lodging, mileage etc.. However I did not report all mileage driven last year for reimbursement. Mostly from hotel to place of meals. Is it worth reporting this as it only adds up to a few hundred miles? Thoughts?

Isnt using a made up language that isolates you from the majority economically and socially just a convenient way of finding an excuse for personal and cultural shortcomings. lets face it, there are mexicans, brazilians, italians and people of many cultures who were able to overcome their language differences in a generation or two. Ebonics is not an excuse or reason for this. Why speak a made up language nobody can understand and then expect to be integrated into an economy using a different method of communication? Is it also a symptom of the culutural disease where people are caught in a permanent stat of adolescence?

What does this mean? Does the person on the other end really think they have the power to "bless" my day? Is this just something they hear and dont really bother to consider its true meaning? What is a blessing? Do people really think someone can cast a spell to grant them a great day? Wouldnt a blessing be just like a spell and isnt that anathema to christians. Again, I heat this a few times a week and of those instances maybe 90% are on african american answering machines. What gives?

I hear this a lot at work from mostly black christians. If a car deal doesnt work out they say, I guess it just wasnt meant to be. But doesnt that imply that God deprived us of free will? And of course the fact that they may have destroyed their own credit, owe too much on the car they want to trade, want a lower monthly payment on a more expensive car, have no money to put down, these facts re irrelevant? But they are all examples of their ability to excercise free will so why pretend like God has control of this situation? Is this just a way for them to save face without admitting their own faults and bad decision making processes? It frustrates me to no end when I hear this. I am an atheist but I always thought christians believed god gave them free will. Do christians believe that god has pre-determined everything in their life? Isnt that just a cop out?

I have always had a thirst for knowledge. I like to know how things work and why. I like scientific explanations based in fact and reality. How can you go through life not being able to do simple math in your head? How can a 14 year old not know the basics of human reproduction? Why do high school students have to ask who the president is or vice president of the US is? Why is there so much ignorance and stupidity? Arent you all frustrated with ahving to explain the most basic concepts to people over and over?
