  • Which birth control pills don't cause breast enlargement?

I just started on Sprintec-28 (generic Ortho-cyclen), and I have gone up a cup size in about a week or so. I just got a lifetime's supply of bras in the relatively hard-to-find-in-a-small-city size of 32C between within the past few months, and now I'm a 32D. This growth is very painful for me (muscle pain, skin stretching and forming stretch marks, and back pain), and I'm looking for something that would make my cup size return to a C, since finding a 32D in this town is almost impossible (had to spend $40+ on the one bra in my size I could find).

P.S.Mood-wise, I feel great on this prescription. So, if nothing will prevent the growth, I guess I'll just deal with the pain and leave town to find new bras.

  • What causes blurred vision that comes and goes?

Starting around September, my vision would occasionally blur at the grocery store. It began to worsen in January. Whenever I became dizzy, my vision would blur. I stopped getting dizzy after I started seeing a chiropractor. For the past 2-3 weeks, my eyesight has not felt right, and computer and television screens seem somewhat out of focus. Could this be a nerve problem? Do people who need eyeglasses experience this fading in and out of vision? My doctor didn't have any input to give me.

  • Is it possible to hear a tendon tear?

I have a history of shoulder injuries, and I was moving some hanging clothes in my closet laterally (moving my right arm to the right). My shoulder was near ear level, and I heard a tearing sound from inside my shoulder joint. Could I have torn one of my tendons or muscles? My arm seems to be hanging a bit low today.

  • Is it just me, or have the racists come out recently?

Is it because they want to celebrate the birth of their furor? They seemed to have joined really recently. Oh, I so want to get on my anthropological soapbox and say how races don't exist and there are only cultural differences. Really, who cares what color your skin is?

Estas palabras no son muy comunes en inglés, y por eso, no las encontré en mis dicionarios.

  • How does coffee have calming effects?

I find drinking 1 cup of relatively strong coffee (like Ethiopian coffee) relaxing. It is so calming that it makes me just feel happy, and I do not want to do anything. If I were to have a 2nd cup, I'd probably feel other effects (nervous, feeling tired but unable to sleep).

I know that this is not exactly a normal reaction. I started drinking very small amounts of coffee at a very early age. I am not sure if that affects how I feel after drinking coffee.

I am also NOT addicted to caffeine. I gave up coffee for 5 weeks last summer and did not have any side effects.

I drink 1 MILD CUP a day (typical coffee mug size) because I enjoy the flavor. On rare occassions, I have made my coffee a bit stronger or drunk a strong cup...I do this no more than once every couple of months.

Does anyone know why I would feel tranquil after having a strong cup of coffee?

You are dealt 5 cards out of a deck of 52.

a.) How likely is it to be dealt a hand with 4 Aces and the King of Hearts?

b.) Be dealt a hand with 4 Aces and a King?

c.) Be dealt a hand with 4 Aces?

I have the answers, but I need help with the solutions. No, this is not a graded hw assignment--it's for my own good!

  • Why does Yahoo! edit things without even being aware of the context?

I tried writing summa *** laude, but every time I write "***" and not "cumm" or something like that, it replaces it with asterisks. I mean, how wrong is it to talk about graduating with a 3.80+ GPA in college?

  • Hindu death practices question?

I was wondering about how people of the Hindu faith learn about death and dying, appropriate bereavement behavior, taboos, values and attitudes.

    For example:

Is it by attending funerals? Does the mother, father, a grandparent, aunt, or uncle teach a child about death--does it matter which relative does this? How do you learn about some practices, such as bathing and cleaning the house after a funeral? How does the eldest/youngest son learn about leading the funeral rites?

    Thank you!

  • Has anyone had a dream in which...?

You are not the main character.

I had a dream in which I was not the main character, but rather the action resolved around a French man. I then traded placed with him, but my French was not that great in my dream. In the end, it turned out that he had been a fake, and he had not been French. It was a very complicated dream, involving me [as a French man] breaking my wife out of jail. I, however, never reappeared in my dream.

So, has anyone else traded places in their dream or not been the main character?

  • College Halloween party activities?

I'm inviting some friends over for a Halloween party. I'm a rather busy person, so I don't have a lot of time to go out and buy stuff, and I don't want anything too complicated.

I was wondering about ideas for activities, other than talking and watching movies. (I am planning on doing this, but I don't want everyone to fall asleep, which can happen with too many movies.) I have a small apartment, so dancing, relay races, and the like won't work.

I am not going to allow any alcohol at my party...please keep your answers clean.

  • Shoulder injury?

I hurt my shoulder 7 years ago bench pressing...my arm accidentally straightened. The bar then pushed my arm toward the ground, and it popped. I'm guessing it was a shoulder separation...I never got it looked at until it had healed.

It's been a bit injury prone since then.

A couple of days ago, I put the laterodorsal part of my hand [back of hand near thumb] against my chin and pulled my arm out [medially with my elbow bent] to make sure my shoulder was in the right place. [If it wasn't it would pop back where it should be.] Anyway, I heard a tear. It didn't hurt then, but my shoulder feels loose, and I get a slight pain when I lift my arm. Do you have any advice? I went to a couple of primary doctors, and they never detected anything. Does anyone know what it was that I tore?
