Even if you dont attend I am just curious.

I have a second grade girl who is a little on the shy side, she's not confrontational. I see that she is a tough girl because at home with her same age cousins she's the boss in a way, but at school she's not outspoken.

Like in all schools and in all classes there is that one girl that thinks she' the best and bosses everyone around, well of course my kids classroom is no different. This girl speaks with an arrogant attitude and it seems that other kids other than her friend are beneath her.

I don't want my kid to fall into that trap where she does everything she is told just to be liked, and I am nervous and scared for her because I know how cruel girls could be.

What is the proper way to explain to my kid, "Hey, you don' have to be everyone's friend and not everyone is your friend?" I mean I have told her this and things along those lines numerous times, but I feel that I'm either overdoing it by telling her so much and she just zones me out.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has been postponed until JULY 2009!!!! A whole year from now. WHY? well the writers strike. :(

I have a first grader who is struggling with reading and I need some tips to help her improve.

I just dont see the point. Im one of those people that just cant stand feet. I just saw I Love NY, and she got her toes sucked, well a little grossed out but they both seemed into it. Should I give it a try before I reprimand it?

Isnt it funny that teens cant wait to stop listening to their parents and do whatever they want. But then they get into a relationship and arent allowed to do certain things without asking their significant other first. What the hell?!

I know and have been great friends with this girl for 5 years (im 19). She has always had a dramatic life and I have been through it with her. Every single up and dramatic down.

Well, I've never really gone to her like that, my problems are just the typical family problems. Nothing serious. But this past year Ive been feeling very bad because of some home problems. A few months ago I went to her house, expecting to have my bestfriend comfort me and give me herself like Ive done for her countless times before. But I get a "Oh I cant talk to you now I have company" and get pushed back to my car. Since then Ive had an inner grudge that just wont go away.

I feel like thats not a friend. Also before she use to call me non stop everyday for nothing. Again these past few months she only calls me when she needs something, and when I used to call her to say "lets go out" she would always blow me off.

I just feel this anger towards her, what do you think.

I live in the LA area, so anything cause I went to Micheals to get a bunch of art stuff for my art class but HELL NO it was extremely expensive. So please help.
